A young inexperienced woman like Yasuko could easily mistake casual sex for love, which would most likely end in painful heart break for her, when Terumi inevitably moves on.

mabye she liked hook ups but now she wants to settle down? people change, what they want in relationships may change, so i think its possible they may have a long term relationship rather then a purely sexual one.

obviously the lady seems to enjoy a lot of hook ups, and the black haired lady seems to have more of a sexual attraction to her, but i dont think that means they cant have a romantic relationship, especially if they talk and end up really liking each other. thats what i personally think would happen.
plus theres plenty people who go for hook ups at one point in their life, and then they want to get into a long term relationship. with proper communication and all thats not impossible regardless of someones history.
