Well, I'm not sure if it'll be for me. The chapter 1 was interesting, the end brutal but logical in that settings. But I don't like the change of tone of MC, sure for her there was a lot of years. But I feels like it'd be more interesting to see her struggle and lacking confidence in her skill, rebuild her self-esteem all while being the new hero.

I'll keep reading it to see where it's going though.

They will try to drive in circle to increase the fare, some even overcharge and more than often refuse to drop you in the correct spot if they just don't feel like it. It not a racist thing since this also happened alot to the local.

As another Vietnamese, if they’re still giving you a hard time, pretend you’re a Vietnamese auntie and give them an earful until they reduce the fare price. Outside of bringing a local, having physical evidence of the altercation, and/or having proof that they’re trying to scam you, becoming a Karen is extremely helpful in these types of situations. Grab is also a great resource if you are able to install and navigate it.

Grab is so useful to avoid being scammed. I only once didn't use it, agreed for a price with the man. On arrival he asked for more. I don't remember if I paid anything (certainly not the price he asked) but I only used grab after that.

OK so real question here:

Is there any people who can remember someone they "met" months ago? I'm very bad at this (took months to remember customers that comes everyweek at work, and I still can't remember their name, it's been 2 years) so I just don't get it and this trope always feels off. I mean, didn't she had million of things that could have replaced the image of this random girl in her head? Even though she thought she's pretty and all.
