Nanase's eating a whole 8 inch hoagie, Yuki's drinking a whole quart of milk, and Fuuko has an endless box of cherries that seems to actually grow more cherries as she eats rather than empty. These girls sure have interesting lunches.

Ok, so for the first several cherry panels the cherries are just copypasted, so they never increase or decrease even as the stems/seeds increase. But then they're shown from too far away to copypaste, and there's suddenly a lot more of them. Scary stuff!

I think the joke is that they crossed over to the Otherside without realizing it, and started to drive people around them crazy.

No scene of Hinata tenderly carrying Naori after the latter repeatedly stabbed herself in the leg last chapter, 6/10.

Asumi's senpai is running around with the photos that she secretly bought after Asumi was tricked into doing a lewd photoshoot by her boss. If that didn't generate an ounce of drama then I don't see anything getting too dramatic between Asumi and Nanao :p

So the most minor of points: the "hates bell peppers" trope. I'm personally not a huge fan of green bell peppers (I like red or yellow ones much better), but they're in lots of dishes that I like, and so I eat them.

Is this an actual Japanese cultural thing about bell peppers specifically, or just a conventional narrative stand-in/shorthand for "food little kids and childish adults won't eat," like broccoli or asparagus in the US?

Yeah, it's pretty much treated exactly like broccoli is in the US. It's the typical food that kids hate to eat.
