This manga has done nothing but let me down. I think I’m as caught up as I’ll ever be because I do not see how any of this pays off and I’m so sick of Kanoko. I never wanted to read about her and yet she might as well be the real main character.

I will never emotionally recover from this.

I tolerate a lot of nonsense story elements but this latest chapter is really disappointing. There are so many other ways to create the same effect without going so far. If this instance was the point of the story, as in a way to discuss dealing with this situation or its effects on the characters and it was serious in tone, then okay we can work with it. But its not, and pretending its doing that right now is a long shot. I hope there will be a redraw but probs not.
