It was alright with Aria— most of the subtext came from the anime and the manga had little to no subtext, if I recall correctly. Aika's "love" was more like an obsession or hero-worship of Alicia and never really felt romantic.

But FUCK, am I disappointed by this chapter. The shift in tone was so abrupt and felt really poorly-executed. D:

Please end this already.
