In a way, this story reminds me of the anime Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne (yes, with lesbians). It has a similar concept, surrounding how immortality could be a blessing or a curse to those who use it. Some people KNOW but don't UNDERSTAND the pain, the stress, and the risks of being an ever-last. It's true that you get to live out years into the future you would probably never get to see if you were a mortal but that comes with a cost in not joining loved ones in the afterlife. Everything except death will leave you in your existence.

The scenario would be: would I take the opportunity to be immortal and become a vampire? Probably so probably not. That's completely up to debate to that person with their standards and morals

I usually don't read super depressing storylines that involve topics like these but I'm up to read it.

This is just my opinion but to those that already despise of reading this because of its concept of human trafficking and irrelevant virgin checks, its best to understand the issues in regards to religious, social, and even political conflicts that are shadowed in each nationality; which still continues to this day and causes problems to those who are unfortunate enough to experience such tragedies. Not saying that everyone is required to read it because we all know that this story will progressively get worse and it will show the dark concept behind more ongoing issues in life but it does give the reality of how twisted any societies can be to accept these kinds of things regardless of their reasoning

Personally, I can relate to this so much. I actually was sweating ping-pong balls when I saw the part of the attachment to your mother. I never knew I had something like that nor could it happen to other children like that. I feel like I'm starting to develop the same eating habits like the protagonist in this story. I relating too well with the whole story now... creepy.
