The writing isn't perfect n the ending isn't what I would've wanted out of it, but it feels kinda natural, as though it were biographical to the experiences of the artist, n media that reads as a stream-of-consciousness memory is something I admire

major spoilers assuming i'm not a dumbass and wrong edit: chika appears far older in the final chapter, and appears to be breaking some kinda news to hiro, and prior to this, there's some kind of panic happening with the science dudes n hiro. at the end tho, they hold hands? my interpretation is chika gettin it with some dude instead of her cute robo GF, and i thought i read a review that said the same, but i could be wrong

as good as this series is, i own a physical copy, and SPOILERS but it doesn't end well, and the author drops the entire point of chapter 7 in order to have chika give on hiro and have a husband. really disappointing, makes me think, "well, what the hell was the point of all that then?"

not into this - the age difference bothers me (prolly bc the characters look young in this style) and a big problem i have with mochi's work is that 'if this was het all yall would find it creepy af' bc it is and the fact that it's yuri doesn't make it not creepy, yknow?

Mei reminds me a lot of my ex, anyone else feel that Mei may have BPD or somethin? Bc my ex had bpd/bi-polar or something, she was undiagnosed but had frequent mood swings and problems with connecting with people, and the way she described 'catering her personality and mood to who she's talking to'' reminded me a lot of Mei's behaviour.
