I'm probably the only who prefers Shiho to Saeko. Also probably the only one who would be 100% fine with the break up. Break ups happen. It's common in sapphic/lgbt spaces to even become good friends (or ocassional FWB) with your ex, as seen in two one-shots.

Honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed this.

I'm happy for Iwashita x Tsubasa and Aya x Risa. But I also really wanted Nozomi and Miyu together. I just need one more chapter... pls.

I don't even know why I'm still following this series. The pacing and writing keeps getting worse... And yet I still hold onto hope for whatever reason.

I'm glad the author acknowledged the dangerous/toxic line of thinking in the afterword. Though I love the artwork, I'm not comfortable with the overall story, but I guess sometimes we do or say things that hurt our partners. It doesn't necessarily have to be the end if the issues are acknowledged and addressed. Sometimes a couple can manage to work it out and move on (or metaphorically fly away) together from it.

I had a strong feeling it was going to happen like this, but I really wanted to be wrong. :(

I thought this series would go on for another year or two. With the way 2020 is going, will Virgins Empire be next?

Damn. Kind of want a series of this.

I'm so glad that the author hasn't been dedicating entire chapters to side characters recently. I'm more invested with how Kaoru, Reiichi, and Uta are going to navigate the situation and feelings they have.

Something I don't get: they're acting like it's the first time they make love, and Maki even says it's the first time someone who's not family sees her naked -- implying she's a virgin or something.

But I'm sure Maki, in chapter 1, seemed way more competent when it came to these matters. She met Midori again, and Midori kissed her on the mouth as a goodbye... and so, for their next date, Maki had her nails cut short -- which I read as a hint that she was expecting some good old second date sex.

And, in chapter 3, didn't they have sex that night? I mean, when they slept together at Maki's place? Or did I completely misunderstand everything about that scene???

She was saying it was the first time anyone has seen her that naked, as in completely naked in both the most emotionally and physically sense of vulnerability.

The conflict makes no sense since the two fiancés don't actually care about each other and only decided to get married to save face. She accidently got impregnated by a guy and he accidently impregnated a chick he only grip the goblin to in another story.

That's why this conflict on them being unfaithful and uncaring toward each other feels extremely forced. Why tell me how and why they don't care for each other and then proceed to treat every other interaction as if they do? They're only a couple in name so why should sorry or want something bad to happen to either of them if they cheat on each other?

Because this isn’t a court of law judging correct behavior, or a “Which Character Do You Want to Be Friends With?” reality show, but a story, with Maki and Midori as the main couple.

Midori didn’t get married to “save face”—she got married because that’s what she thought her life trajectory was supposed to be according to the society she lives in. That’s why she left Maki in the first place, long before she met Tazune.

Tazune obviously doesn’t “care for” Midori in any recognizable sense of the word—he’s just abusive and controlling because of what he perceived as past humiliations.

That anybody reads this story as treating “each interaction” between Tazune and Midori as if “they care for each other” makes me despair of basic public literacy.

I know it's been said several times already, but damn, those breasts are ridiculous. I am enjoying the action and Gantz-AoT-Bleach-Evangelion vibes, but the exaggerated breasts are so annoying. It's too bad, because the artist does an amazing job with facial expressions and everything else. The close up of Yorino's face and especially eyes after every time she thinks of Haruka, ugh, it guts me.

I love this series so much. I really hope Suzi's nightmare never comes true.

Thank youuuu. Hate when people complain about the social expectations element of a story. It's very real, especially in Eastern cultures. I'm Asian American and this stuff still weighs heavily on me.

Maybe the misunderstanding can evolve at least to keep its comedic theme. Idk Something has to change soon. Like maybe Ookuma accepts that Kanda is a girl, but so many of her friends and family already know Kanda as a dude. So the two of them start to keep up pretenses together, then eventually coming out as a queer couple.

i had a personal boycott of this story for three years because large age gap + mother/daughter incest disgusted me. but now i read every update. i still don't support those things but the character development of Ayako is so intriguing to me. plus the drama hurts so good. can't wait for the next chapter T-T
