It's increasingly depressing to see Windyfall go down the toilet. The weird choice to leave most spoken noises untranslated and only translate a couple of them (pg 10/11) leaves me fairly convinced that someone just threw this into MTL and the MTL only caught the text it could easily parse. Missing words, missing punctuation, and the back-and-forth between english and japanese sound effects, sometimes on the same page, only cement this impression. (I hope they're not doing this after 7 years of scanning. I would love to be proven wrong.)

I actually took the time to write out a full set of proofreading notes because I figured it was the least I could do after being repeatedly critical of them, but it feels kind of pointless to bother posting it. I doubt anyone is paying attention if this is what they're putting out.

Dialogue was weird at times; not sure to attribute to translation or the original work. Or maybe that was just me?

Windyfall's quality has dropped off severely as of late, especially whoever is doing the Bocchi stuff they put out. They're typically riddled with errors and very clunky translation. A simple PR pass, not even a translation QC, would do wonders.

In re people (including myself) complaining about Windyfall recently: This one is better than Her Tactics to Get Friendly. Could have used some better TS, but as they're searching for a typesetter, that's fair.

I understand from the other thread that they've got hiring problems and are lacking at least a TS and probably a PR as well, and that sucks and is not an easy problem to solve, but it does kind of beg the question of 'why release this now when you could hang onto it for a bit and release something better quality'.

The text is understandable but really needed a good PR pass to make it flow better and catch some wonky word choices and gently dissuade whoever thought

Thanks for the translation, but what's up with Windyfall lately? Their last few releases have had a lot of errors and some really weird typesetting choices. It's a bit weird how abruptly it started.
