"Are you two lovers?" asks the girl to her two moms, while one is feeding the other.

The Takamachi family in a nutshell.

Nothing in the series ever suggested that them both being women is a problem, at least as far as I remember.

Yeah, just wanted to point that out, too. The Mid society canonically seems to give exactly zero (0) fucks about that sort of thing. Which may have been one of the reasons Nanoha moved there, in the first place, if you think about it.

Soooo, would anyone mind explaining what happened to Ymir? I'm interested in Yumikuri but not nearly enough to actually read AOT. Also, is the yuri dead if she actually took over that... guy's body? I guess it'd still be Ymir, but, still, canonizing the ship after Ymir takes control of some dude's answer seems like a massive copout to me...

We have not been shown exactly what happened to her yet, but the situation is as follows: she was last seen in person 40+ chapters ago, where she left the Walls with two outside infiltrators, trading herself for Christa (the infiltrators were after Christa's royal blood, but had to make do with the less important Titan shifting power that she originally stole from them in the first place). After not hearing anything from her for three RL years, we then saw one of the infiltrators come back and bring a letter from Ymir to Christa, where she basically confessed to her, but also revealed that she will be executed soon. Now, in the most recent chapter, we meet the guy who inherited her Titan power, as well as see his flashback of her being prepped for "execution": the way "inheriting" Titan powers works in the setting is that a person is left alone in a room with a bound Titan shifter and is then turned into a regular, mindless Titan, so the first thing he does is devour the old Titan shifter, getting her powers. Judging by the fact that the new guy has already displayed his Titan shifting abilities, Ymir has, indeed, been devoured by him (and we obviously don't know of any cases of a Titan shifter physically surviving the process of passing on their powers).

I have re-read this so many times and still cannot find out who Mika ends up with. Only answer that would be acceptable at this point is the person is the reader themselves . So unless We are told otherwise I can use this as a logical ending.

The way I understand it, it is a completely new character unrelated to anyone we've seen in the story proper.

Darn that's just irritating ...boooo lol

I think the moral here was that sometimes, your destined soulmate is someone outside of your regular social circle. Or something. :-)

This story is a trainwreck in progress, but I can't stop reading. XD

Someone already spewed my theory all over the comment section about the posh lady being the MCs double and the similarities being why wife might like them both.
Now to see if we were and profic.

Didn't she take off her mask tho, and looked really fucking scary?

Of course they could play the "heavy make-up card". She find a substitution for her, so of course she has to set up a convincing front as well.

But yeah admittedly she looks very different to Kasuga/Haruhi

It is more likely that she is somehow related to Yukari (the wife). Their brief interaction at the start of chapter 6 is heavy on subtext that they know each other quite well, and other girls remark on how they have a similar presence. I wouldn't go as far as to suggest sibling rivalry, but cousins, perhaps?

Haruhi and Kasuga being body doubles is still a mystery, however.

So has anyone read the latest chapter (93) yet? Any thoughts?

It does not look good for our dear Ymir. Hopefully she'll have survived somehow...

Someone raised a rather mind-boggling question on another forum: if Ymir somehow took over the new guy's mind and, more pertinently, body (like King Fritz did with Uri and Frieda), what would that mean for the Yumikuri ship?

That's unexpectedly sad when the chimera died. I hope that snake is alright.

It most decidedly isn't. Having your partner die before you can make up with them after a trivial fight is one of the most surefire ways to mess up your psyche.

I love it when Fate goes all moe! ^_^
"Vivio's bullying me" hehehe, classic!

It reminds us that Fate is actually a very emotionally vulnerable individual, despite all her power and intelligence.

This stuff is surprisingly real. Behind all the goblins and demons and swords, there are very relatable and down-to-earth issues -- my favorite way of writing fantasy, in fact...

Wasabi x Aki is the truth.

This is precious. This is almost bordering on tsundere, too.

It's totally tsundere in spirit, if not in letter.

I don't know why I'm enjoying reading this as much as I have. Somebody send Halp!

It's too late for you, my friend.

I'm not saying it's bad, I was actually surprised at how good parts of it were. It is inconsistent, however, like when they didn't translate "Lyrical" or used "2015 Anfang des Sommers" instead "Frühsommer 2015"...

^ Y'know, I always see Yuu as the bottom. I mean, I love it when she teases the heck out of Touko (when will we get to see more of this again? ; . ;), but I don't see her topping Touko. Could be wrong. Tho I wouldn't mind being wrong...

I feel like even as a bottom Touko would be really assertive with how horny she is. Not sure if that even counts as a bottom at that point.

"Topping-from-the-bottom" is a thing.

My impression is that this manga was created primarily to give Fujieda and Minamoto an excuse to draw as many pretty dresses as they could come up with and cram into a single manga volume. :D

Also, when I read the extra chapter, I couldn't shake off the feeling of an art shift: it's like they've gotten a new artist to draw it, whose style is different from both Fujieda and Minamoto's. If anything, it kind of reminds me of Kouji Hasegawa (the lead artist on Toraha and the early Nanoha installments), to the point where Suika is a dead ringer for the young Nanoha, and Makino looks a lot like Fate in many pages.

"---and then Vivio became a ground-based brawler instead, the end."

Ah, the good ol' parent-child conflict. Even Nanohaverse is not exempt from it...

Lesbians, if you have a choice, get born into a Morinaga Milk world, not a Takemiya Jin world.

The Miyabi Fujeda world (there is only one) beat's Morinaga Milk's in terms of comfort. >__>

Literally a whole country of lesbians that has the technology for two women to have children. Can't get more comfort than that.

Also, everyone gets designer clothes.

Like brother like sister :)

The dumminess does run in the family, it seems. :D

...meanwhile, Takako x Yui is as depressing as ever. :-( I am wrong in thinking that Yui is acting extremely egoistically? She knows Takako's true feelings, but refuses to understand that by "punishing" herself for her own mistakes, she mostly hurts Takako, who deserves it as little as she deserved that cutter wound. It's a vicious cycle that cannot end until she finally puts herself in Takako's shoes.

If there exists a thing that can be taken as unquestionably good in every possible context, that thing is called "more Kase-san chapters".

Y'all need a basic understanding of rhetorical context. Damn.

Did you just make a case for regarding context on the internet?

The Nekofather making a request you can't refuse.

For maximum effect, read his dialogue in Norio Wakamoto's voice.

I'd expect a government-issued emergency underwear to be much less extravagant. More like a patient gown, maybe?

But what sort of message would that send to 12 year old cat girls? That they're diseased and in need of a cure? That's not great. I expect the government wanted cat girls to feel normal and valued as women, and that meant lingerie.

That, or the government official in charge of this was a hopeless catgirl otaku who wanted all his neko-waifus dressed up to his liking. ;-)

If I buy a copy of this manga, I'll smoke it for sure.

FYI it's on the Schedule 1 list in the US.
