Lol, I see nearly 2000 comments here. Is it somehow popular? Some drama was made by basing on this manga? Just asking, cause I'm not very in anime/drama things.

AFAIK there is just the manga. But it's really good, I guess? Someone please confirm that, I'm not sure...

New girl doesn't seem like the possessive sort, but what's with all these people doing background checks and whatnot? Couldn't you kids try getting to know someone in a more normal, less yandere-esque fashion?

I think it is yet another subtle reference to feline behavior. If you've ever been owned by a cat, you know how possessive they can get of their owners, so a background check of a person to them would not be very different from, say, checking out the repair history of a car they've just bought.

So if Yuu turned Nana into a vampire, then Yuu needs to get another person to have her fresh supply of blood, and so Nana will get another person for her own supply of blood.

Doesn't Rin explain that turning into a vampire is not a voluntary choice? You either turn upon being fed upon for the first time, or you don't. Yuu has fed on Nana three times already, so Nana's chances at vampirism look rather slim.

As for if they are the first to develop those ideas of vampirism, not sure. Masquerade's idea of vampires is heavily inspired from various media, one of the most prominent being Anne Rice's book, especially her character Lestat.

I have never actually read Anne Rice's novels, but don't they have people turning into vampires directly by drinking blood of other vampires? "Pseudo-vampire" underlings seem to be a new addition to this chain of events.

I'm holding out for the harem route!

Well okay but Nana has to be the legal wife.

As far as I can tell from their classmates' dialogue, she already is.

On the topic of immortality though; it's not that unique for vampires to extend human lifespans. I think it happens at least semi-regularly in vampire fic. Although it's usually tied to said human drinking the vampire's blood, which then gives them all kinds of perks. So really the only new thing here is the LOVE angle, which, in a so far bloodless vampire manga, somehow isn't that surprising.

Wasn't Vampire: The Masquerade where this whole gaining-vampiric-perks-from-drinking-vampire-blood started?

Read page 1 of this chapter again and tell me she's not talking about sex. :P

Vampires making people immortal through the power of love now? Ssssuure, why the hell not I suppose! As long as we get more yuri vampire hijinks out of it

Maybe it only works for yuri vampires, that's why it doesn't happen for everyone? >__>

I... I just don't understand this manga. I just cant lmao

You can only understand this manga by turning off all parts of your brain responsible for understanding things.

I wish I could get jobs as easily as these two.

Even if you had to look for a new one every month, just like them?

I love NanoFate's sky dates. Many doujins and fanfictions have it, it's canon! I'm kidding, I don't remember the anime having a NanoFate sky date.

It's canon that Fate and Nanoha used to fly off for some "sparring" regularly until Nanoha's injury, at which point Fate dialed it down a lot.

Because that would be a spoiler, and Dynasty only does spoiler tags when it concerns het and dicks.

That's kind of messed up how you said that.

I only relate what I observe. :^)

Could this get any better?!

Your question has no meaningful answer. It is impossible to tell how much better this manga can get, as it is already the greatest thing in the world.

You have a point, but still Remi egged her on to go down that path. She seems like she's good at doing that.

Agreed, the point being that Sacchi's still the one who chose to act so. Repeatedly.

Remi plays the devilish tempter role in the story: she leads people into temptation, but they choose whether to resist or to give in. Blaming Remi for Sacchi's intentional infidelity is like blaming Satan for your own crimes: sounds legit to a guilty mind, but is total bollocks to an impartial observer.

It really did have something to do with P=NP though. If an almost definitionally unprovable suspicion is proven true, all sorts of consequences result. She thinks she's proven it, but her proof falls like all the others.

Her proof is not formal enough, as it relies on unstated prior assumptions.

This almost felt like a chapter from another story, and not just because I forgot what happened in the first one. Even after reading the left turn felt somewhat jarring. Talk about Drama with a capital D.

Would "melodrama" perhaps be a more appropriate term here?

I don't think they are genetically step sisters.

I think the mother sold her uterus to some rich woman.

So, it's not technically incest. No need for the tag.

The scar on the stomach makes more sense then.

That's messed up, but I can see that happening, given the mad science that took place in Heart Gifts.

Well not completely True. Yamada has hugged Kase a couple times one time making Kase very flustered to I believe.

I imagine it feels strange to be suddenly hugged by a (cute) potato. =)

Why didn't they the Incest tag on here

Because that would be a spoiler, and Dynasty only does spoiler tags when it concerns het and dicks.

By the way I would hope it has nothing to do with the femoral artery. Bite into that and it's less erotic vampire play and more "What we do in the Shadows" style "All I'm saying is, could you at least lay down some newspaper before you take a victim?"

And puncturing carotid arteries, like normal, unsexy vampires do, isn't? ;D

Man, that looks so much like an AMV, it makes the non-existence of an actual anime even more painful. ;_;

Also, I can't help but notice that they used the album version of the song. It makes sense, of course, but IMO it's not nearly as powerful as the live performance linked earlier in this thread...

^ Yeah, might not work all that well when the girls wear mini-skirts, unless she starts wearing stockings.

AFAIK non-hentai manga schoolgirls are, on average, very keen at concealing their inner thighs and keeping their skirts down (especially with boys around), so biting there and expecting them to do the coverup for you may not be as dumb as it sounds.

And that's if the author doesn't follow the "bite mark heal right away" trend anyway.

Well, obviously not right away, since we see the marks clearly immediately after the bite, but yeah, they still may heal extra fast after that, in which case the entire discussion is moot, and the author just chose inner thighs for added eroticism. ^^

The inner-thigh biting schtick felt like shallow erotica writing at first, but there can be a slightly clever justification for. I hope Takano was thinking what I'm thinking.

The vampires here are big on secrecy and it's probably easier to hide fang marks on the inner thigh than on the neck. I am not very familiar with anatomy, but AFAIK the femoral artery, one of the largest in the human body, runs pretty close to the skin at the inner thigh, making it a good target.

Guys, guys, chill. We all know that death of cuteness is not permanent. That's why it's the best way to go -- you always come back for more.
