Wait why did I get all 39 chapters so suddenly? Checking at their upload dates it seems like they were uploaded at a steady rate. Was something wrong with dynasty's feed or was I just super late to the party?

Let's settle for this as the official line - there were technical reasons we didn't upload all of these chapters previously, and so we pushed them off onto the site all at once when we were able to! The dates displayed are actually original release dates by the translation team, not upload dates. The upload date for all 39 chapters was the same, April 21st.

I like the ex-girlfriends angle, very underused plot point that's usually rather interesting when attempted! Thanks to Piranhaplant for the translation, well done!

So the robot part was all like, something's definitely gotta be up! But then it develops the rest of the scene with senpai being super observant and appreciative of the small things kouhai does. It's definitely one of the sweeter developments off that particularly pervasive plot thread I've seen! But then I remember who the artist is and go...surely, a storm is coming.

Agree with Nezchan. And there's no Yuri or Het tag because, again, agree with Nezchan. Even if we prefer Perlen's reading of the situation, it's more of a cute and comfy situation as TheYuriTomboy said than romance. How exactly do upload requests work?

Hi! So, you put in the upload request, then that goes to our backend, which uploaders and staff members can access. Depending on any number of factors - yuri content, objectionable content, staff interest, audience interest, scanlation quality, permission from the relevant scanlators - the request is either immediately granted, set aside to be uploaded eventually, or dismissed.

Do you need to provide an email to an uploader here on Dynasty with the scintillation files attached when submitting the form or is just pointing to a URL where the files can be found enough?

No, you don't need to do anything like that. A URL is more than enough for our purposes.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but I never heard back. How does one find out if or why their request wasn't done properly or failed to meet standards for uploading?

You didn't do anything wrong! Unfortunately due to technical limitations, we have no method of communicating what the situation surrounding a particular upload request is to the user who requested it. I am always available to answer any questions, including ones about specific upload requests, by e-mail or in the Suggestions for Improvement thread, or on our Discord server.

As far as your specific request is concerned, it appears to have fallen into the middle category - set aside to be uploaded eventually - and not re-visited since. I can't comment much on the specifics, because I don't know them well for your request, but it appears to me that the request itself was done perfectly. I'll take a look into those specifics in the coming days and see what the hold-up is. If there isn't one, maybe you'll see it up soon!

Well, technically each of the leads gets their own separate kiss. I was trying to be intentionally vague with my wording, but yeah, you're correct. I admit, both Madlax and .hack//Sign were a bit too weird(?) for me at the time I watched, but I'm a big fan of their work nonetheless! Noir and El Cazador are both great.

How gay is Noir?

The sort of gay that inspires lots of fan theories pointing to specific instances in which the subtext got awfully text-y. (Unfortunately I think a lot of these were lost to the winds of cyberspace.) It's not teasing a la your standard CGDCT show nowadays, and it's definitely more about emotional connection than sexual tension, but there's still a lot of material there, I think. There's at least one on-screen kiss that does not involve the main leads, and a good deal of homo-eroticism in general. By the end of the series they definitely love each other, but whether this is romantic or sexual love is - intentionally, as I recall - left up to interpretation.

That said, it's the show that got me into gay stuffs in general, but hardly one I'd recommend if you're strictly looking for gay content. Not exactly sure why I feel that way tho

I don't mind reading stories for that too, but this specific premise I read so many times, I'm currently sick off it and prefer to look for different kinds of stories.

This art + perspective is super duper cute!

I very much understand the internal "ugh" some may have for stories like this, but I liked this one, and I do think something like yuri manga has pretty decent representation across the spectrum of tomboyish behaviour. I'm a real sucker for some of these lines about kabedon, or, "Would you be my friend?" It's like a gut-punch, too cute!

There's no actual name for this series - I just copied the most basic idea contained and made it the title for our purposes. Given this, the chapters aren't numbered, but do show up and are linked in the same way that any other series' chapters would be. I'm open to changing this if necessary for better readability. Lastly, all the entries in the series are in an ostensibly UltraHD size. I noticed no drawbacks from this in my own previewing of the chapters on the site - but if you are having significant performance issues getting through these, please let me know so we can replace them with smaller versions!

As for the series itself, I rather enjoyed it. An interesting take on origin stories for characters that don't necessarily get this treatment often. A little clumsy at points, but pretty good overall.
