I think it has potential to be a hilarious bit of insanity, but LN adaptations rarely live up to their potential. We'll see! Yuri-wise, wouldn't expect anything played seriously

For new TV anime, Cross Ange, Sora no Method, Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de aru, and maybe Shirobako look like they have yuri potential

what kind of yukai is the hermit ? at the start i thought she was an oni, but now i'm not so sure.

Kasen is almost certainly an oni

I think Wild and Horned Hermit and Forbidden Scrollery provide a nice contrast. WHH serves to show how humanlike youkai can be while FS shows how alien they can be.

More to the point, WaHH stars a youkai posing as a human, while FS stars a human that's turning into a youkai

How about writing them so they're fucking in-character for once? Though I do love Ayukko's doujins.

The weird part is that this one is actually fairly plausible, particularly compared to the other stuff Ayukko has done

Yep, being of the same class makes them sister ships. Whether that makes Tatsuta and Tenryuu actual sisters is unclear
