She also seems fairly manipulative when it comes to the MC, especially with that sex scene that she arranged for the bike girl to see and the way she tried to use it to scare the MC into avoiding the bike girl.

From the first moment I got some strong manipulation/abuse vibes from her, I was worried this show was gonna go down that path so I was a bit surprised when she came out with the "oh the new girl hit me" thing. So yea, as much as a dumbass MC is, I'm not sure what to feel about Hwayeon.

Though... I know this has already been beaten to death, but... I thought this "she's a grade schooler" thing was a joke through 90% of the read, until it dawned on me that the author is actually serious about this. They could've at least made her 14 or so, imo. Like, are all of these flirty shots of her meant to be "real" or just the MC's imagination? 'Cause, either way, it opens up a whole can of worms. And honestly- I think the MC being attracted to this girl is the least of the issues at hand. I mean, she does look really mature.

Anyhow, it's amusing to see people make it into a big deal. To me it's more just a "really? okay then..." kinda thing. An amusing read

This was all nice, but was that slap really necessary? As in the main series, it just feels... off.
Anyhow, I feel like this was a better read than the main series (longer chapters, more coherent, maybe more thought out?). Hope there's plans for more of this.

Or if they spiraled into the codependent relationship, Kaoru turning to the one person she can rely on. Could have been unhealthy but fun for some of us to read. Instead they just limped into it, mostly off-page in timeskips, with "SUDDENLY I'M BI FOR YOU YAY".

Spiralling into an even more codependent relationship could've been a very interesting read, but given the few chapters the author had to wrap things up... more was in place for them to go their separate ways, especially with the recent chapters. Just entirely removing this chapter and removing the last few pages of the previous chapter would've been better than this; it would've given a clear indication that they both have moved on from each other and that they're (or at least Uta is) doing fine.

I honestly would've preferred the series to just end with Uta coming to terms with her unrequited love and Kaoru finding a new purpose in life as single (eventually meeting a man with mutual feelings). Maybe start to work on a voluntary centre or something, help with women who are in stuck in loveless marriages etc. Y'know? Just them going their own separate ways, but still being able to find happiness on their own terms.

As someone mentioned we've gone almost 40! chapters with no inclination towards mutual love. Why not just stick with it and make a good, if not bittersweet ending instead that doesn't compromise on the series' core?

Well, that worked out quite swimmingly it seems.
I would be surprised to see Akira just going along with it so easily if there wasn't so much talk about this being axed in the last chapter that I kinda expected it to go that way. Will agree the last kisses were a bit underwhelming, especially Akira's with Rin... but I could buy them all ending up together eventually, anyway. (I don't expect others to be fully so supportive, though. Eventually they're going to face some doubts from others)

Tatsubon's biggest turn-on in the world is strong girls who are good at fighting... who will rescue you (the mc) from any danger and beat up any bad guy who messes with you...

Agreed with the notion that she should've concretely turned down the prostitute offer at the end, but it's a minor nitpick.
The only thing that comes close to irking me about this is the potential age of Nao, cos I much prefer relationships of somewhat more similar age. Though, that it's left vague is fine to me (considering she works at least part time; I'm assuming as someone mentioned earlier that, logically, she's 16 or older. Still, it doesn't really matter).
The art is really cute and I'm just glad there is more sibling incest to enjoy, especially one with a happy ending, even if it is just a oneshot.
