This manga is literally the best adpotion of the LN. The anime ain't that bad, it's just that the manga is that good it sets the bar really high.

Damn, Chinami is totally the victim here, and she's right, Yukako is one hell of a cowardly insensitive person. She reminded her what does it feel to ditch someone out of nowhere. It felt great when she did it back to her, but knowing most yuri manga, she'll probably be "redeemed" and they'll get back together. This should've been the chapter.

It's just their first day going out and they are already touching hands. I miss pure Yuri.

Welp, I take back my words. I'm kinda disappointed with the anime adaptation. I think the pacing was better in episode 2, but they failed to animate Abarato's messed up mentality. He had no impact on me in the anime and felt like a plain character whatsoever. I also liked his design in the manga better, as they didn't even bother to draw his get-up in the anime, I also don't remember that Arabato pointed his gun towards the girls in the light novel. The encounter with Hasshaku-sama was also meh, they don't even bother with the jumpscares. Skipping Sorao's internal monolouge and her comments about Toriko's beauty makes her coming-out-of-the-closet gay realization realization that she needs a friend like Toriko way out of nowhere. I think it's because the manga is just that good and at the of the day it's the anime creators own interperation of the light novel, but still, Taking up 4 anime projects at once doesn't seem wise and I can clearly see the rush in the making of this anime. Guess I'll stick to the manga and LN for now and binge-watch the Anime once it's finished because I don't think the rest of the episodes will be anyway better. It will turn into Berserk 2016 once the action comes up in the later arcs. I'm sad because I was looking forward for the anime and the trailer was promising.

I hope a second season would be possible though, cause the yuri won't happen in the first season, and I'm dying to see an anime that doesn't focus mainly on yuri, but it is more of a nice suprising side thing. It's rare to find such stories. Maybe the fact that the first season won't contain yuri is for the good, I guess? since not many people would be pulled off by the yuri and will actually stick to follow the good story and won't complain about the Yuri in the second season. One could only hope I guess.

On the other hand, have you guys seen Iori Miyazawa's views on Yuri? like holy cow that dude is a diehard Yuri fan. Most male yuri authors don't know a thing or two about Yuri but this dude explains the nature of Yuri perfectly, and even better than many female yuri authors I know! He is my spirit animal. I am honored to read such an amazing work by him.

I haven't read the Manga yet, but I've heard it follows the LN perfectly. After taking a sneak peak on the latest chapters, It's obvious to me now that the Anime couldn't adapt the Manga as it was way behind at the time of production of the anime.

Is it gonna adapt the manga or the LN? (Though I think they aren't that much different from each other. On a side note, even though I believe this series isn't really scary, but I think the Anime will nail the creepy atmosphere of the otherside based on the trailer. I don't think they will go further with Yuri, as it only begins in the third volume, which I doubt the Anime will be able to cover that far. I am also particulary assured because the director for the anime is Satou Takuya (Asagao to kase-san, Steins;Gate, Frag Time).

I wonder if there's an agency somewhere that specifically deploys guys to hit on girls who seem to have romantic subtext. The dudes get their jaws broken, the relationship progresses thanks to the intensity of the situation, and the agency presumably compensates the victims based on the damage incurred and the degree of progress they brought about.
