Surprisingly I didn’t like this one at all :/ The art was cute, but the characters and their boneheadedness drove me crazy.

The turnaround time on these chapters is unreal. I saw the new chapter on Pixiv JUST NOW, then came to DS and the chapter is already uploaded! Holy shit! Hats off to the scanlator.

Like everyone says, this is way too rushed. Also, the sex seemed pointless. I think I’ll pass on this one for now...

I want this so bad

sigh another "I'm just a cross-dressing guy, totally not trans" story. I've never really heard of a man staying in drag in their public life just because its a fun hobby they enjoy. It's just not something that really happens. Sure there are people who like to do the whole drag queen and drag king thing as a hobby, but the only time someone's gonna go through the effort to present like that throughout their daily life is if they're trans. I don't get why writers (of already gay material) need to bend backwards to portray this trope instead of just writing the story as it would occur in real life, which would be with a trans character.

I was thinking something along the same lines... I love that fiction let’s us step out of reality, but this trope does seem a bit silly. I could latch onto stories better if they felt a bit more realistic :/

I don't plan on white-knighting this series but what exactly were you people wanting that was so obvious, that you're now trash-talking this series at the end?

I’m guessing they didn’t like that several characters were cut out from the story so quickly and without any foreseeable ties to Master and Mel (even when those side chars were featured in the other Master + Mel future manga), that and Itou basically took this cool world she built, burnt it to the ground, and ended the series on a note of uncertainty.

I loved the characters in this story, but hated how Mel’s love felt like it was based purely on a young girl’s misunderstanding of love and passion. Marie was an ass for pushing all of that onto Mel; I don’t care how much we wanted to see Master and Mel together, I wanted to see a grown up Mel and Master together in the countryside. That way they’d still have their adorable forbidden Human\Beastkin love, but at least Master wouldn’t be a pedo.

Slavery is wrong. Paedophilia is wrong. Species racism is wrong. This manga combines all three. It's disgusting. How can you people be okay with such a horrible, toxic relationship?!

I'm not okay with this anymore! I need an adult.

I love this story, but I feel like the mangaka is leaving our important frames. It’s like this manga has a shitty connection to the server and is dropping scenes.

"It just recently started serialization in Young King earlier this year in June, and we've been waiting patiently for the first volume to be released to start it, which was in October, so there's only one volume right now. However, since Young King is a biweekly magazine, volumes for this series will come out pretty quickly, with the second volume already slated for release next February."

Subbed! This one looks interesting, and I really like the art. I have a feeling the story is going to go down the transgender yaoi route, which isn’t my ideal genre, but could be an interesting emotional rolllercoaster. Let’s ride!

The only way to have transgender yaoi is for it to feature trans men. I'd like to invite you to read the description of the yuri tag right here on this website.

Don't call us "traps". It implies we do what we do to deliberately misinform or hurt other people.

I've never considered the definition of a "trap" to be someone who DELIBERATELY attempts to misinform someone, instead they're just someone who's very passable as a girl but is revealed to be a boy. The internet's definitions of trap seem to agree with me.

@AriaSencha was right in that a transgender male and girl relationship would be yuri.

Crossdressers don't have to be gay, the point I was trying to make in my original post was that I was anticipating this story going down the route where Gin is asked out a by a guy friend which eventually develops into a relationship (resulting in a het male falling in love with a trap male).

Cisgender men who crossdress and transgender women are not the same thing. Also, cisgender crossdressers are not necessarily gay.

@majere I kept reading "transgender" and processing "trap" in my head, but those are two very different types of people. I'll brace myself for some hatemail, and will inform admirers of traps that the internet still thinks they're gay :)

I think it goes beyond mere denseness--more like a pathological refusal to grow up and make the move into adulthood, with a bit of psychopathic manipulation of other people thrown in there.

Hopefully, but we’ll never know. The magaka apparently decided to apply the brakes at Chspter 3. Grade A weak sauce. Would have loved to see more of these two and watch them grow as people.

This manga reminds me of a scene in The Simpsons where Bart writers something on the back of Homer's head, and Homer tries desperately to read the back of his head. For a little bit the family laughs at this, but then as he keeps scrambling trying to look, they pointedly stop laughing and look at each other in worry.

After a certain point, Chiaki-san's monomania stops being cute and becomes off-putting.
