There used to be at least one doujin about them on this site I'm pretty sure. This isn't a popular ship I don't think, but they had some cute moments. Charlotte acts like Francesca's mother for the most part.

I think it's a form of wish fulfillment. Homura is a very compelling character, and as a viewer you want to see her love returned, preferably in blatant fashion. But because of the kind of story the series is, this rarely happens, so these doujins serve as a comfort for the fans.

Something really screwy is going on Haru's torso. Artist must have made a mistake and didn't notice it until too late.

I don't mean "I love her but she doesn't love me." I mean there's an element of, "I don't know if this person is having quite the same emptional experience that I'm having when we see each other." I think page 3 was all true, but relationships like this rarely ever reach absolute closure.

^The narrator is uncertain and insecure about their current relationship too. That's the depressing part of it, the suggestion that they may or may not have a mutual understanding but don't have any way of finding out for sure. In the end I think this story is very subjective and designed to mean different things to different people.

I've never seen this brought up before, but aesthetically I much prefer to see characters lips fully interlocked when they kiss. To me it looks more romantic and pleasant. The intensity of the kiss can be conveyed through mouth, head and body movement, and onomatopoeia.

I wonder if "one-sided feelings" is meant to refer to the narrator's point of view, rather than unrequited love. As in "this is how I in particular feel about the situation".

I think the narrator is unsure whether her ex's feelings have lingered over the years as hers have. They smile at each other, but both can only wonder at what the other is thinking. The narrator takes the safe path and walks away, deciding her current feelings are probably unrequited anyway, so it's no use reaching out any further.

I personally think it'll be better if there are snippets of them before the break up so readers can invest/ care more about the characters.

I also think it'll complete the one-shot since it feels like a conclusion rather than a full story, which is the reason I don't like this one-shot that much even though it's cute (and I love their smiles).

The author intended to communicate feelings rather than plot and characters, and left the details for the reader's imagination, because almost everyone has had their own experience with unrequited love before.

It leaves you wanting more. By the end of the last chapter, the protagonists' hearts have finally become one, and there's a ton of potential for more stories to be written involving this new romantic relationship... but no, series over.

The manga's art style is a little more abstract than the anime, so it's easier to not notice that the character's clothes hug their bodies impossibly tightly.

Well, I'm impressed.

Also I think there's some tension building between Yuri and Kamome. She may not KNOW she's being gay, but she's undeniably a genius at it.

Yuzu x Yuzu's fingernail

Mei warming up to Yuzu is development. Mei growing to see how relationships can be enjoyable for their own sake rather than only for fulfilling obligations is development. Is it well written? Maybe not. But she didn't stay the same.

Also I have to take issue with the idea that since Mei ultimately left Yuzu, that's proof her personality didn't improve at all. Mei's self-destructive loyalty to her family is her most deeply ingrained character flaw, and a relapse was inevitable sooner or later. But that doesn't mean she didn't make any step in the right direction at all. It's just another step on the long road to recovery.

Hey guys just a random thought, why are scanlation illegal yet libraries are legal?

Copyright law. Libraries lend out legal copies of books. Scanlators create their own digital copies of works and upload them on the internet. That said it's up for interpretation whether scanlation is always illegal.

If you have to comb through the manga with a magnifying glass to see the character development then there isn't much to actually find.

Good thing you don't have to do that here unless you're paying literally zero attention.

It would be amazing if the final arc of this series was Mei figuring out what was really important to her and fighting to fix her mistakes.

Is that ending line a promise...

..or a threat?
