I'm pretty surprised how similar to the original manga it is in terms of joke pacing and delivery. The characterizations were also pretty on point.

Boobs jokes are definitely overdone, but it got a legitimate laugh out of me when Kita pushed Bocchi off the slide xD

Tangerines or the orange emoji is often used as slang in Chinese to mean lesbian/yuri because it's a reference to Citrus the series xD

Interesting and fun premise. Curious where it'll go from here. The exposition and melodramatic hijinks are a bit much in this chapter, but I forgive it because I know it was just to get the set up out of the way so we can start the actual story.

The amount of people justifying that Nanase deserved being cheated on in the comments (mostly from Mangadex) gives me such a headache.

I'm having as much fun reading this trainwreck as much as anyone else here, but like come on. Yes, Nanase has been a terrible gf and you can understand why Yuni ended up cheating, but to say Nanase deserves it, is way too much. It's like comparing her to an actual abuser. Like the series itself isn't saying Yuni is in the right lol.

Yuni being manipulated by Fuuko aside, she's really showing her true colors there by being happy over her gf getting injured rather than concern it could have lasting impact on her sports career.

Since she's ending the series on her own terms I think there is a better chance it will be a nice ending (regardless of Kaori's death status). Even though I am sad to hear it is ending soon, I'm also not since it does feel "about time". It feels like a pretty good time to bring everything to a close and has been feeling that way for a while. Honestly it's kinda hard for me to see how she would drag it out further.

All I'm hoping for is a few happy moments of the two together after the confession. Don't kill Kaori off before the confession and don't kill her off immediately right after lol

Eh I didn't mind this chapter. At least it gave us direction in terms of storyline instead of wandering aimlessly. Since it seems like it's just an excuse to get Yuzu jealous, hopefully it can kinda push them to do something in their relationship lol. Mei feels extra extra robot-y this chapter though. Like even more than usual lol... >_>;;

Hate that Aki blames herself, but I hope the author will flesh out her reaction more later on and not seriously portray it as Aki's fault.

I think you guys are being pretty generous about the interpretation of the afterword lol. I think Yuni really does intend for Konno to be the player that she is because Yuni loves writing about players and ambiguous relationships (just read a few of her other works and she literally said in the same afterword that she wanted to write a series about a players alliance playing with all the girls in Japan lol). The goddess bit is supposed to be ironic thus the "mc should know what type of relationship she's getting into before signing the contract" sorta deal. MC was blinded by her idolization to realize what sort of person Konno really is.

That being said, even though Konno is a player and they've kept their relationship ambiguous doesn't mean there won't be any progress. It could end up being like the "Not Black, Not White" situation where they do eventually make it official (but yes after lots of time wasted on mindgames as another poster said lol)

Either way, whether Konno is an ass or not depending on your interpretation, this story was enjoyable for what it is. My favorite page was the bonus about the random lady who interrupted them in the bathroom though. It was so unexpected xD
