@random: how you even find these things? YT recommend actually works?

Being subscribed to channels like Wildlife Aid Foundation and Kruger Sightings probably has something to do with it, as does parsing a lot of funny animal vidyas.

...as a result it also recommends me stuff that probably counts as some kind of vore fetish bait. (;¬_¬)

If I remember correctly, this series (or somewhere else) mentioned that the fat below the upper arm is as soft as the breasts. Does this mean somehow they are sucking each other's breast :v

I'd be very surprised if this notion wasn't where Yumimi got the idea at least... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

^As Ecko and Kyo like to demonstrate you can clear the overwhelming majority of content pretty much solely on 3☆ lowbies with sound tactics. (Below that might get tricky but even the 2☆s have their occasional uses.) This game's commendably F2P friendly like that.

Grimdark and fluffy? Sure why not.

Siege can basically render obsolete most of the "kill type" Vanguards, esp. once she reaches E2 :c

Bagpipe coming soon to finally make dp-on-kill vanguards relevant again :D

Hence the "most" caveat. :P

also pre-emptively crying cuz Baggy won't come home anyway :c

Why do we even have a "lots of brushing" tag? What?

Upgrading skills doesn't hurt either. Anyway here's a basic strat guide by Mr. Haha Low Stars Go Brrrrr, KyoStinV who alongside Eckogen is someone to pay attention to.

In practice unless you're going out of your way to hear particular Operators' interaction voicelines you'll likely be cashing in everyone's daily trust doses via the base master/notifications menu on the upper right.

From the randomly "totes adorbs" departement, have a live feed of fluffy lil' barn owlets (OvO)

...not exactly edge-of-your-seat excitement tho as those puffballs seem to spend most of their time sleeping and grooming. A fly foraging on the nest floor is a fascinating distraction to them. :P

I'm tired to death of otokonokos.

...so why are you reading this again?

joined Jul 26, 2016

...actually looking at the thread backlog a bit, weren't you yourself involved in a debate about a different set of labels and their application some four-five pages back Zor?

"Relatively" being the operative word. This bunch is better than most but by no means immune to blinkered pigeonholing and cockeyed shoehorning.

joined Jul 26, 2016

Crude, stereotyped pigeonholing is bad though - and that tends to be what such labels in practice get used for in online discussions at least.

Internet audiences tend to be abysmal at things like "nuance" and grasping that human behaviour is generally a context-dependent spectrum.

TBH my theory is they saw the official portrait about once, entirely missed the shading indicating the roundness of the cupola, and for whatever bizarre reason drew from memory instead of looking up references.

Would go a long way to explain all the weird fuck-ups in the design like, say, getting the suspension badly wrong - 4 instead of 6 wheels, complete omission of the underbody transmission elements etc. Or that Ass Pulled handle on the upper rear hull where the original instead has what looks like some kind of projecting machinery housing. Just to name a few.

Then I frankly question your judgement because there's a laundry list of details here that are flat out bad art, to speak nothing of the dubious grasp of the original material - Lancet is canonically not shaped like that period.

joined Jul 26, 2016

The fundamental issue is that people discussing this kind of stuff in practice - also routinely here - tend to use such labels as prescriptive rather than descriptive.

They're also wont to throw hissy fits when such obsessive categorization gets called out.

It's 2020 not medieval times, they know right from wrong just like we do and they have the same responsibilities.

Wait... I thought Doggerland was a thing then? WHY IS IT IN THE NORTH SEA ON THAT MAP?

Quick search gave it a formation date of only ca. 16 kya so...

As I understand the feature was connected to the general weirdness of the area - ie. being a huge glacial meltwater lake dammed in the south by the Weald-Artois anticline and by the remaining glacier mass in the north - around the end of the last glacial maximum.

@random: 66 mil years ago huh? I can't get famous by finding fossils here...

You'd likely have better luck than I would anyway, since the last glacial maximum basically scrubbed all overburden off the stupidly old and hard (because anything that wasn't eroded away long ago) bedrock 'round here...

On the upside out in the woods people still sometimes stumble across caches of valuables hidden by olden-time folks for various reasons. (Most just get bug bites tho.)

joined Jul 26, 2016

Okay this is some cool shit. Interactive globe map going back 750 million years that lets you search for the contemporaneous location of present-day places - want to know where your neck of the woods was hanging out when dinos went extinct or life started colonising dry land?

brb nerding out with this for the next hour or two (≧▽≦)

A little bird told me that there are actual lesbians out there that denigrate those among us here who apply top/bottom labels to lesbians such as Kanda and Ookuma, considering such people to be "morons". Apparently these women are somehow arrogant enough to believe that they can speak on behalf of the entire lesbian community around the world without conducting anything remotely qualifiable as a statistically valid survey.

I quite like the sarcasm here.

^lobsters with their green copper-based blood turn red for entirely different reasons than us vertebrates with our red iron-based blood tho... Namely the cooking heat causes chemical changes in their exoskeleton which results in the colour shift.
