I think I have it sort of worked out:

  1. Strong enough to engage in mortal combat without being winded.
  2. Aggressive enough to engage in mortal combat at the slightest provocation.
  3. Bold enough to confess romantic feelings and sexual urges unflinchingly during mortal combat.
  4. Weak enough to reduce you to an embarrassed quivering mess at the first sign of genuine affection.

Basically, it's an evil Superman and the LOVE is it's kryptonite.

Well they are supposed to be yandere characters after all. Violence is as natural as breathing to them. Having their object of affection act so sweetly towards them isn't typical for them though. It's more likely to be screams of terror or fearful obedience instead.

This one maybe?

That's the one I was thinking of. Can't answer for zakapitan though. That does explain why I couldn't find it though. I was thinking it was a one-shot not part of an anthology so I wrote off all of Takemiya's works since I knew for certain it wasn't one of her one-shots.

Oh, so that's where that eyeball licking pic comes from. Someone posted that page on a forum I frequent sometime last year.

That was... Weird to say the least. Though not the worst thing I've read here, let alone worst I've read today. (Looking through the available tags when looking for something is a bad idea when weird tags like "eyeball licking" or "depressing ass fuck" catch your eye...)

this one maybe? http://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/when_you_say_no_i_say_eek#1

I reckon it's not exactly how you described it though.

I'm fairly sure this one isn't it. There's one I'm thinking of but I can't remember the name of either that's a lot more similar. The class rep is the light haired girl and she likes the dark haired main character who helped her with some fashion advice or something like that.

dont know why everyones upset. it pretty obvious theyll end up with eachother anyway.

Because in the end there was very little to no actual development. There wasn't even a realization at the end that what they saw in each other's little sisters was actually the things they loved in each other or anything.

wow last chapter.......aww they are so cute. hope someone translate it soon.

I'm pretty sure Yuri Girl 1001 said she was going to be translating it soon like three posts above yours.

I can kinda sympathize with Suzu-chan, what with her trouble finding the right timing to say or do things. I've always been pretty bad at that.

What interesting timing for you to bump this. I literally just reread this myself last night. And I think that's a reasonably common issue. Especially for people who are self conscious.

This chapter got me confused and angry.

I was actually really confused myself until someone mentioned it was actually an extension to an earlier chapter. It'd be nice if someone could make a chronological listing of the chapters since they jump back and forth at times.

(I still think that is the thought that came to her, in light of her abortion).

I think you got your terms here mixed up. From what I understand it was a miscarriage which is why she got so depressed afterwards. She was happy to be pregnant.

I like coming back and rereading this one once in awhile. The first time I read it I was actually fairly unsatisfied with the ending, though subsequent rereads I've changed my mind on that. I would have liked to have seen it go a bit longer though. At least a short epilogue after they've graduated would have been nice.

I'd especially like to see what Mihane ended up doing for a career after graduating. Though I'd take a guess she probably would end up working with Reika. After all, even if she didn't succeed at her own actions her ideas did save Reika's ass as Reika realizes near the end and while she's a ditz she's obviously not stupid if she managed to get into the top school in the country.

Also something short to show how things turned out for other characters (especially Katagiri succeeding at her goal and Mihane's sister being weaned off Mihane) would have been nice. Chii-chan especially didn't have a conclusion which would be kinda needed.

Also the first time i've seen a slap like that in a yuri manga when the recieving part really deserved it.

Personally I think she deserved more to be on the end of one of those body slams Aoi ended up on the receiving end of several times, lol.

Welp, when someone says "no" and you continue, ignoring their protests, that is rape. No means no, and all that.

The thing is "no" doesn't always mean no. That's why laws regarding consent can be so weird. You see it all the time in mangas here as well. The vast majority of the time it's clearly not meant as a "no, stop this now" but as a "no, this is so embarrassing and I just don't want to admit I'm enjoying myself". In this particular manga it's more iffy than most but she's clearly not as against it as it might look at a casual glance. In manga in particular it's usually used to signify that someone is just being shy or self conscious.

I knew that one user's avatar was from one of this mangaka's stories. Hadn't been able to figure out which one until now though. This one was a bit different than usual. I found it kinda funny to be honest.

Man, I thought the ending of Fragment of Love was good! I don't know why some of you guys say this is crappy end.
Well, I like it. I think it made sense! And i mean, We can see it coming from all the previous chapter, that Mika and Mayu obviously won't be together.
The story was just my cup of tea! Love the ending!
And, I always have a thing for side couple so I'd love to read more Love and Piece! I prefer this story to FoL lol

The ending isn't perfect. I actually don't disagree with you that Mika and Mayu obviously won't end up together but it did still leave lose ends. At the very least Saki and Mayu's relationship seems to be in the same spot despite some clear changes (notably Mayu now knowing that Saki loves her) and the reasoning for this lack of any sort of change isn't explained at all, let alone adequately. Then Mika's infatuation with the cafe owner isn't really addressed either and is left entirely up in the air still as well.

Three years for an update, what the hell, lol. I didn't even know there was a second chapter for this. I thought it was a one-shot. Looks like there's more coming though judging by the status on the main page? Anyone know how many chapters there are?

The title is interesting. (Also confuses me nearly every time I read it because wherever I downloaded my version from has the title's Japanese name but in English lettering so what I'm used to calling it is not what it's actually called and I've been too lazy to fix the name, lol.) I decided to Google ultramarine just to see if it was even a real thing and it turns out it's an actual color. The synthetic version of it on that page is actually a really pretty shade of blue.

You should probably spoiler that considering everyone else is and the fact it's 2-3 chapters away from what's currently translated on the site.

Y'all are analyzing why a secondary character can smell Ran. I mean, just take a moment to let that settle in.

If people are enjoying themselves and doing nothing wrong then who really cares? You seem to be of the mind that it's something people should be ashamed of or something, judging by that last sentence.

Setting aside the odd looks they might get when they say they have two mommies, let alone two mommies that show they love each other by going into assassin mode. xD

I don't think assassin mode is the best way to describe it. Assassins usually don't leave everything in range in ruins, lol. An airstrike or a bomb would be a lot better.

Just seeing these two makes me wonder...Will there be any survivors at the wedding? My doubts tell me no.

No one has actually gotten hurt yet.
Related to Yuri Girl 1001's spoiler for reference -> Though according to that spoiler that might change

Saki is not even close to Ran but she knows Ran's smell, that'll be weird, I dont smell my friend! Well, almost time for chap 32

You may not proactively smell your friends, but if they're passing by you while you're breathing air through the nose, chances are you'll catch their scent - especially if they're wearing anything strong.

It'd also be fairly easy to connect an unfamiliar smell in the apartment with the person you're less familiar with. So if Saki is close enough to Keiko to recognize her smell then it'd be fairly obvious that an unfamiliar smell in the apartment would like be Ran's.

Crap, I think someone blew some smoke in my eyes or something.

For 7 pages that accomplished a lot. And for 7 sad as hell pages I found myself wanting it to continue. I really like the way Koga was drawn too. The rest of the art isn't bad or anything but I thought the way she looked was quite nice.

I'm kinda curious why they've simply been removed from the reader. Girl Friends is licensed and it simply states as much without having a chapter listing and has a link to a place you can buy it so you'd think something similar (maybe without the link bit since the person editing might not know where to get it) would happen here. Or is it because they were one-shots and thus wouldn't actually have a chapters listing or something? (In which case maybe adding that collection to the reader for the express purpose of listing Nowhere To Go and In the Afternoon might be a good idea.)

I think people are missing something when looking at this story.
Yuriko never stated she wanted to play the princess role and while she didn't stop Koro's weird habits she never forced her into it. Koro followed her and did things for her happily, and at the end was able to openly and comfortably express her own thoughts and opinions more because they had finally connected on less of a vertical power scale.

Yuriko by the looks of it was pissed being forced into a doll position, and I think the only reason why she accepted being called cute so much by Koro is because she realized how earnest and pure her feelings were. And while people may take offense to her constantly calling her a dog I think in her own way that was her way of showing affection, seeing as she really loved that stuffed animal.

The only real reason why I find this a bit off is because Yuriko and Koro never really stated their feelings clearly which is probably why you're looking at it as aubusive.

I mean hey I'm not saying you guys have to listen to me, but I think it needs a deeper level of thought.

Yes, this is me! I finally stopped lurking and created an account just to quote you.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to be loved. Being "loved" means being "held dearly".

While adoration is more like being "worshipped and idolized".

While Koro was "worshipping and idolizing" Yuriko to an extent, it was out of genuine love and... well, if you recall how her mother treated her and how her little groupies treated her, it was what she was looking for all along.
And in that sense, Yuriko probably loves Koro for... loving her!

pssht even though she's loyal in a creepy way ~

;w; the fact that you wanted to quote me made me giddy, it seems like we're the only two thinking like this though XD

I feel the same way too many people only look at the bad side of things

When you scrape the surface of this story's possible interpretations it does look terrible and I do see a focus on the bad which is the "abuse of power through Koro's feelings"

Unfortunately it's far too easy to see things that way. Especially if you miss the bits where Yuriko was really attached to that dog stuffed animal (and the rest of the dog related analogies and references in the story and title) and stated with obvious hatred that she never chose to be treated like a princess and that others just did it on their own without ever considering her feelings on the subject.

The relationship between the two is definitely on the odd side (and Koro is kinda super creepy at times even if her intentions are pure) though. Koro seems to have never been in a relationship before and judging by the bit where they reference her blowing everyone else out of the water in the exam it seems to be intended by the author that she's supposed to come across as socially awkward. (Which could also be where the stalkerish behavior comes from as well.) Yuriko on the other hand ends up looking super selfish and shallow because she's simply happy to find someone who actually cares for her for who she is rather than just how she looks (as someone else stated, she probably is fine with Koro saying she's cute simply due to the fact she realizes that Koro doesn't mean it the same way as the others). As for the "Hotel. Now." bit I think I can see where Yuriko was coming from too. It's fairly clear that being treated the way her friends were treating her there was a serious pet peeve for Yuriko and understandably so. In her frustration over that occurrence she turned to the only thing that she thought was a way out of the situation. She just kinda went about it in an irrational way. (Which would be understandable considering her situation at the time, extremely frustrated with everyone. She's not going to make the most rational of decisions.)

It's made reasonably clear though, if you read into things enough, that she's not simply using Koro and that while her way of doing things seems kinda self-centered (though this is completely understandable considering the way she's been treated by basically everyone) she is fond of Koro even if she'd otherwise be straight.

I think this story would have done far better as a 2-4 chapter manga instead of a one-shot though. It needs better pacing and the author ended up communicating a lot of stuff poorly or too subtly. (Though the dog symbolism in particular, at least in my opinion, wasn't communicated all that poorly actually.) Making it longer could have allowed for more solid communication even while keeping it still subtle. (Well that was like 2/3rds of an essay longer than I was originally intending it to be, lol.)

I let out an inhuman noise at the end of the manga.

You may wanna go see a doctor and have that checked out. I'm fairly sure that shouldn't happen.

What you're looking for is Nowhere To Go by Konno Kita but Dynasty doesn't look to have it after a quick search. There's also In The Afternoon which is a sequel. After looking on Lilicious' site both look to be licensed apparently.
