I liked it, although it definitely could have been longer. It felt more like 12 pages instead of the 28 it actually is. I have a soft spot for stories that play with the aging and time perspective differences. It's been 2 years since this was originally out though. Did there ever end up being a pt 2?

This is precious! After reading the recent Ooshima Tomo NicoMaki doujin released on Yuri-ism, I immediately had the thought that I wanted to see something with the moms (since Maki's and Nico's moms were so hot in it) and what do ya know? My prayers were answered!

I thought it super adorable how she just accepted it haha. Still waiting for something on Nico's mom though. One giant doujin with all 4 mothers...one day, one day~.

I would love to see a fanfic or doujin based off of this AU.

At first I was like, "A line?..." Then I figured it was animated. And then I died.

^I'm currently reading UQ Holder (haven't finished Negima yet) and it's pretty good imo. It mentions nothing of the sort that Konoka is married to a guy (doesn't mean that it didn't happen), but maybe wherever you heard it from just assumed since the main character, Touta, is a descendant of Konoka (Konoe is his last name and Negi is his grandfather). Anyway I don't think that the yuri was eliminated at all. We don't even know which Konoe he is directly descended from. Nothing has been confirmed yet.

The jokes in this one are kinda hard to follow....takes what the fuck am i reading to a whole new level....

It's cute in a fictional story, but if someone started running after me like that, I'd be more freaked out haha.

It's gone beyond the point of bad to just plain boring and tiresome now. It's seriously just going around in circles.

In any case there was never a clear endpoint for the series and so far, there's still loose ends to tie so it's kind of silly to presume that it should've ended already.

What loose ends are there left besides Mei and Yuzu getting together anyway? From the beginning, the major problem was Mei's issues with her father and they've solved that. Sure, there is that issue of "oh they are sisters, this is wrong!", but that doesn't need a love triangle to solve. I think it should have ended a chapter or two after Mei patched things up with her father. Mei really warmed up to Yuzu by then and I think a couple of chapters solely focusing on their relationship WITHOUT 3rd party characters, would have wrapped up everything nicely.

It really is transcendental overbait...it has ascended too far and reached into the antibait zone!
We were all "but it's so yuri" at start when it wasn't, and now we're all "but it's still not yuri yet" when it totally is!
Everyone went into reverse mode and didn't even notice!

Shou has baited us so much that we cannot be sure if it is teasing or canon anymore! Damn you Shou, you overlord baiter you!!

Of course everything I just said is probably moot. As rejuvenated as I feel at the moment, I'm sure next chapter we'll be back to square 2.

Oh my god. This is great! Totally not what I was expecting and really original! I like the fresh take on mermaids. Plus you get a nice Ichthyology lesson out of each chapter. Loving all the fish jokes too.

She actually said last night on Twitter that she wants to release two books at Winter Comiket, an original story and probably a Love Live book as well. (Although she doesn't know whether she'll actually be able to do that yet.)

(I'd love to get into Touhou, but I suck at the franchise and don't know where to start :()

How I got into Touhou, was just picking up a random doujin and start reading it and then going on any Touhou wiki and read up on the characters. You can start by reading up on the more popular characters (a quick look at the pairing tags should tell you which ones to look at). Then, as I sifted through the various doujins, if someone shows up and I didn't know who it was, I would just look them up. I personally don't think you really need a lot of background for Touhou because I feel a lot of it is fan created and you don't really need to know the games to like the fan work. After a couple of doujins, you get the feel of the characters' personalities pretty quick and a lot of the inside jokes from the fandom. I don't know if it's the right way to get into it, but that's how I enjoy it :)
