Bruh, there is no way Sakurako didn't feel pain in this position. I even feel pain for her just by watching, this position is not remotly comfortable.

Also it assumes that given those 40/30 pages, author of Lily Marble would actually put them to good use and not try to fill them with whatever they want losing focus and making story worse.

There is tons of author who would have use it correctly plus Lily Marble chapters always had 13 pages.

I don't know what Lily Marble had to do with this. Both mangas aren't even published by the same publisher, neither does the artist or the writer work on Lily Marble. Hell, Mermaids Lovers probably even end up being discontinued before Lily Marble started.

Bwahaha, those 3 confessions were godlike. First one , they are both in a bathtub in swimsuit at Shima'shouse and Adachi confess while being dizzy and pass out. Second time, she confess during the firework and end up running when Adachi look at her. Last, she bite literally her tongue and end up spitting blood on Shimamura during the confession. Still, Shimamura's attitude over the confession are very Shimamura-like, abit like "i just want to try out going out with Adachi", although her reflexions on society are a bit painful but unfortunaly a bit accurate on Japan's society. But that's good, after 6 volumes, they finally end going out. Might as well wonder if the others will found out and how they will act. Especially Tarumin.

Are we really doing Homura dirty here? she is very direct about the nature of her feelings for Madoka in the final sequence of Rebellion, you really cannot interpreate it in any other way unless you are being willfully blind to it, what was she missing, wearing a pride flag button on her school bag or something?

I mean you'd be surprised. I only started thinking about this recently because I saw a Reddit post where somebody was arguing exactly for that, that Homura's declaration of love could be interpreted in other ways. While I was searching for that specific post, I came across even more posts and comments questioning whether there really were romantic feelings involved.

Anyway that's all I wanted to say about the series and my own wish that some day there will be at least one instance where built up subtext between characters becomes full-on text. And if that never happens, even with characters like Rika already being out, then I hope the world changes enough that some day this can become normal.

I won't be replying to any more comments on this topic as I think it's treading the same ground and it's not like I disagree with anything being said about the characters themselves. Interesting talk though.

That said, if the author ever decides to continue this story (I think all of the other chapters in this anthology are unrelated one-shots?) I expect it to focus on Hime and Ren's relationship instead. Which I'm completely fine with - I'm honestly interested in seeing where it'd go from here.

90% of this manga was about Fujishiro and Kurokawa's relationship and suddenly everyone jumps at the author for doing a side-arc of just 4 chapters.

What are you talking about? Fujishiro's realization has already been diverted to friendship during Izumi's confession chapters. There is not going to be any extreme progress from that.

So we're in for 10 or 12 chapters of suffer again because Fujishiro is an idiot ? Izumi just go throught her confession and Fujishiro will still think she only see Kurokawa as a "friend". Yeah well, i begin to understand why people prefer to have the side characters in the front.
