The answer to the two comments you've made asking the same question is that some art styles lean more moe. That doesn't mean the characters are children though. Personally I simply see it as "exaggerated art style emphasizing cuteness" and that's it.

Come on, It's only chapter 3, people. The manga it's obviously about teenage drama situations, let the author give us that. A lot of those scenarios can still happen with what we have so far.

Well in my opinion the teen drama here feels off, I don't mind it in plenty of manga but something about here didn't click. It's true that the series could still be good but this chapter simply felt weird to me. If you loved the chapter and are excited for more that's entirely fair as well, nothing wrong with having different opinions.

Deleted my old comment to make a new one. After catching up on the anime I think I can say it's probably better to not watch it for the Yuri. I've over the last couple of episodes generally lost interest, I'm not as into the series as I want to be, and I also can't see this ship going anywhere at this point unfortunately.

Yeah going with the general main examples, Artoria, Mordred, Jeanne, and Nero all have very different styles of dress, and personalities plus general character tone. For example Artoria upon taking up the sword to become king became very stoic and emotionally suppressed, where as Mordred is very emotional and rebellious, so how they're drawn in terms of body language and general expression differs a lot. It's usually very easy to tell these characters apart once you're familiar with them in my experience.

Also yeah I still remember our old conversation where we agreed to disagree because you don't like most of the Fate anime, but Zero is generally different so you might like it. I have a friend that only likes Zero. Though maybe Fate just isn't your cup of tea and that's fine. I have a complicated relationship with the franchise, but also more than few people's worth of love for it as well haha

The awkwardness of it being easy to forget the sister is in the room lol

@Moedred: I think part of it is Takeuchi having some same-face (though I think some of his characters look different) so it became an in universe joke and official trait. With Gilles mistaking Artoria and Jeanne, "SaberFace" is a trait in FGO and Mysterious Heroine X does bonus NP damage against the trait. There's a variety of stuff. The one I'm unsure about so take it with a grain of salt is a friend once told me SaberFace supposedly connects to Eve (Biblical), and so everyone with the trait gives a glimpse of what Eve looks like in the Type Moon universe, but I don't think we've seen her and maybe that's just a fan theory. I've never been able to find a source on it but it doesn't sound impossible.

Also yeah Wada is the character artist for Nero, and she's the artist for Extra and Extella. Her art style is very different from Takeuchi's style, and in terms of Sabers she's the original artist for Altera who isn't a SaberFace. Though in FGO Altera is drawn by Huke (who is also the artist for Hololive's Kiara), which personally I prefer Wada drawing Altera.

^Yeah Wada is Kronii's artist, she also watches Kronii's streams and is supportive of her. Nero drawn by Wada and Artoria drawn by Takeuchi side by side are easy to tell apart because their art styles are noticeably different, yeah though there is a deliberate element of making them look alike. Personally I really like Takeuchi and Wada both, as Artoria (plus Mordred) and Nero are some of my favorites.

@Moedred: Yeah I don't think I've seen Nero Bride for either Extella on Steam, unfortunate that it sounds like it's Playstation exclusive x_x

What I'm saying is that reading the room will help you avoid socially awkward situations. I don't know you and I don't think you're a bad person or anything like that, it's fine to have your sexual fantasies, though there is a time and a place for certain talk. Sharing a male centered sexual fantasy in a lesbian centered community is awkward, and it's going to make people uncomfortable. It also overlaps with how there's a long ongoing history in the world with women being treated like objects that are owned by men. Regardless of your personal intent it can be easy to come off certain ways without meaning to, and I'm definitely not perfect either, I make a lot of mistakes and social fumbles. I also apologize if I'm rude or harsh at all, I simply think there's a certain element of knowing your audience here and acting accordingly.

^No, one is Artoria (better known as King Arthur), and the other is Nero Claudius. There's an acknowledged in universe trait called "Saber Face", which are characters that have a similar face to Artoria. That's the general gist.

That aside, it's fun to see Artoria with Nero, I've seen Nero with Mordred but I don't think I've seen her with Artoria.
