It kind of creeps me out. It acts way too intelligent and in this world of animal-eared people it makes me wonder if it's not just a dog.
Though I'm probably just thinking too hard about something that's meant to be cute and nothing else.

No, no, I think you're on to something here. This dog in a world of people with animal ears is a warning. A warning of an even higher race of animal-eared eldritch horrors and their godlike kemonomimi masters.

On an unrelated note, I really like the Lovecraft manga adaptations on this site.

I don't have a lot to go off of but I'm trying to find this fantasy manga with a female mage character whos image is centered around being a fire mage but who's actual best aptitude is for ice instead, which she tries to conceal for some reason.

That sounds like it could be Granite from Goblin Is Very Strong.

Alright y'all, place your bets on what kind of girl Assistant-chan winds up with.

I'll go ahead and make a completely wild guess of Ranbara-sensei.

Am the only one who's nervous that they broke up because Tadokoro remembers Sakurako in her school uniform? Like she's remembering a high school fling.

I took that image as the author not wanting to spoil Sakurako's grand entrance and look in this series.

This post is just needlessly inflammatory and unnecessary. I've seen several posts from people with similar attitudes lately, and the rude, smug superiority attitude without regard for other points of view has become grating.

I like this series. However, every now and then, I remember it was written by a man and that spoils it, just a bit, for me. It reminds me that it's just a guy's fantasy about life at an all girls' school. It's kind of the equivalent of the Cinamax sexy softcore porn movies about women's prisons, I use to sneak downstairs late at night, to watch when I was 13.

Sad a man can't do yuri without being tag as fetishist. Seriously, there are yuri hentai artists who are women. And also it's way less ecchi that it use to be and the writing is pretty good. I don't understand why the author being a man should change the way you see it there.

I said nothing about women not being able to write hentai of any kind. Nor did critisize the writing. I'm saying that this ecchi work is entirely a product of a man's imagination. That is an indisputable fact. Simply fantasizing about girls' sex and love lives doesn't make a guy a fetishist but it's still just a fantasy.

No successful work of fiction is ever "entirely a product" of anyone's imagination. The amount of experience, research, and understanding necessary to create a compelling work depicting the lives of characters is astronomical. It's very saddening to see that any part of the author's identity affects how someone perceives their work. We still have a long way to go, it seems.

So what was with Mahiru? Was she trying to protect Mahiro's innocence by distracting her with car talk?

I doubt it. She and Mahiro kiss each other all the time, so what's so special about YuuMari just walking close to each other? I think she really did just get distracted by the car.

I think she's clued into the fact that Yuu and Mari like-like each other. Her expression on page 2 struck me as sad at first, but after looking back at it I think it was more gentle. I suspect she ships it. The bit with the car could be her distracting Mahiro, but I took it as a joke about Mahimahi's ditziness, like you said. You think she's noticed them snuggling, because that's where our attention is drawn, but actually she's just distracted by the expensive car.

My interpretation is that it's supposed to be ambiguous. It genuinely could be either possibility, and that's what I like about it.

Can we stop with the unnecessary and, quite frankly mean-spirited flaming of people who didn't read the credits page? In their defense, such pages usually don't provide relevant answers to inevitable questions a series such as this will immediately raise.

ntr threesome or what is this

Still not sure what's happening, but I see no reason to think there will be NTR in this. Also, Kageko looks even cuter than before, if that's possible.

The thing that really stands out with this artist's sex scenes is the unbridled energy depicted. It's exhausting, but always fun.

The author really pressed the little red button on the Men In Black car on that last page.

LOL the author predicted Frogkiwawa… XD

I choose to believe this is where she got the idea for it to begin with.

Not to burst your bubble, but Frog Kiara is from the talent herself in a video from January last year titled "am frog." It was linked in the comments here already. She's also done several other animals in the same style. The frog one got over twice as many views as the others. This was made in August last year, so the inspiration is the other way around.

Top of the last page for this chapter (99) reminds me of Kyle MacLachlan as Paul Atreides yelling "THE PAIN!" during his Gom Jabbar test.

You just wrote a generic "don't like, don't read, let people enjoy w/e they want without bashing them for it" comment when at no point Hoden86 ever implied that they think people shouldn't enjoy works like that or trying to argue some objective criteria of how works should be written. In fact saying that someone shouldn't even attempt trying to understand something they don't is all kinds of backwards thinking.

My goal was never to stifle all attempts at understanding others, nor was it to offend anyone. On further reflection, I don't think my post needed to be made. Deleting, and I apologize.

This author really has captured the essence of one of the most influential magicians of the 20th century: Lucille van Pelt.

I need to know who started this surprise marriage and sibling trope so I know who to blame for such nonsensical manga beginnings. I've lost count of how many times authors have just glossed over something so incredibly strange when a few text bubbles of backstory would have sufficed. Can they just not be bothered to create a scenario that might actually happen, or is this trope just so ingrained that they don't even consider how ludicrous it is?

Pointless rant finished. Actual story is cute, though. Looking forward to this.
