Well, I wouldn't say that there's not enough content. The LN's are up to volume 7 (volume 5 is being released in EN later this year) and the first season covered volumes 1-3. So there's content for season 2, so it's more a matter of producing it than waiting for more content.

Actually LN6 just came out in January so a S2 would be pretty snug right now. LN4 English drops April 18 (LN5 in August).

I'm sort of conflicted on MagiRevo because the world building isn't its strong suit (and book Anis loves infodumping way, way too much) but I think the anime did end up a bit disjointed from excluding some of it. Focusing on the relationships was still probably the right call though.

Volumes 4 and 5 are available for preorder in EN. Series is currently ongoing at volume 7. Anime does in fact cover volumes 1-3 of the LN.

The direction they took was not ideal, but it was one that solved the problem in the short-term for now. The series is not finished, so a "fix" can still be found. If this was the true ending of the story I would have been sad that it had to come to this, but I look forward to where the novels will go from here. A season 2 would seem far off considering how far the anime got. There is simply not enough content to make one yet.

here is all the details i can remember! it was a multi chaptered manga. there were two women that had a really close friendship. both of them had frequent boyfriends here and there, but they enjoyed playing with each other a lot. like they'd tease the other in public or do it in somewhat crowded places. their relationship felt very natural and loose despite all the sex and they loved each other a lot even if they were with other men.

i remember two scenes very vividly: in one of them, they were doing it on a bed. one of them was doing her from behind with her fingers and i think she said something like "huh, so this is the view men get to see regularly... its beautiful". then she told her "hey so i heard it feels really good from both sides. wanna try?" and then she does it anyway and the bottom squirmed a lot and made both of them fall off the bed... they just laughed it off. the other scene was just them in the afterglow after doing it. the moon was shining through the window, and one said "you look beautiful under the moonlight". i think that may be perhaps related to the title of the manga but i can't for the life of me remember what it was...

In fairness, Momo is the youngest child of the family. That makes her, what, 3rd in line for the throne? Unless her two sisters kick the bucket without any heirs, she’s not following her mother’s footsteps. Her marriage would have mostly been for an alliance (and for tradition’s sake), but in this case, the Queen decided that Aki’s plea outweighed the need for to abide by the old customs. It was a bit sudden, but I find it satisfactory enough.

Less Aki's plea and more Momo's happiness I think.

Also, 3rd in line is quite a bigger deal than people make it. It would be a minor thing if she was like 20th or something, 3rd is a bit away from being the heir.

Let’s not forget that it seems same sex royal couples aren’t unheard of in this setting. Kunya-Sama only stopped pursuing Momo because of Aki’s love for her and didn’t want to get in the way. So it was an option for her and it’s entirely possible that Momo would be engaged to Kunya if Aki wasn’t around.

As such, adoption is possible and expected for future heirs if needed. I don’t think it was mentioned, but if her mom had siblings and their kids had kids, then they could adopt from them and still keep the royal line intact.

The Marriage tag is too broad, to the point where it's hard to really use it to find things. It's currently used for proposals, weddings and pictures where characters are wearing wedding rings.
I suggest at least making Proposal its own tag.

Yes, easiest way I’ve found is to go to the search bar, hit enter with nothing input. Then you’ll be given the option to search for tags and exclude tags.

I just finished rediscovering and catching up with Until I Become Me and I would love to find another manga in the same vein. It's a unique gender-bender story in that it takes its subject material seriously and does not fetishize it at all which is almost unheard of for this genre. It takes a rather nuanced and thought-provoking look into issues of gender and self-identity.

Does anybody know of any other thoughtful dramatic or slice-of-life gender-bender stories that either aren't romances or which at least don't fetishize the issue? Bonus points if the story has yuri undertones.

I currently have three on my list that I had started but got left behind during the MD blackout, but I need to go pick back up:

Okaeri Alice This one doesn’t have a GL tag but seems like it’ll be a love triangle (like an actual triangle) between 3 childhood friends.
Inside Mari This ones a body swap/gender swap with a GL tag. Only up to chapter 11 but seems pretty interesting so far. It’s a mystery plot. MD doesn’t seem to have everything. It’s up to chapter 80 on other sites.
Balance Policy By Akihito (Kyou Kara Mirai & Lily System) so it’s gonna be, well, interesting I imagine. I’ve only read the first chapter so far. Government sponsored Gender Reassignment to combat birth rates is the premise. But it’s tagged GL but I’ve been informed that’s not entirely correct.

I’m torn on recent developments in “Until I Become Me”. I’ll stick with it for a bit longer but I’m not confident it’s going to go the direction I’m hoping for.
