I always hate the trope where someone realizes the person they love is better off without them, so they just cut off all communication like that. Talk with them. Be honest. In a couple chapters the short haired friend is probably going to get all jealous, and it's going to be all her fault. Good intentions, but dumb move.

This manga keeps dancing on the edge of drama only to fall back on comedy. Here's to hoping they never actually make that jump

I kind if want her to become a known "good lay" amongst the sex workers. Like they pass gossip about the cute naive girl fucking her way through the brothel's entire roster and wonder who she's going to pick next.

That would be a great plot point. Especially if Mai were to take her to a company picnic or something after the fact.

I can get how it might backfire, but still, it's funny to think that all this could be avoided if she asked these girls whether they have a coworker named Mai.
