I saw the tags and haven't read it. Came to the comments to see what's the deal with it, but I haven't gotten a clue yet. It's just people saying it's sad.

Hina and Sayo are a cat and dog, respectively, but Sayo dies and Hina’s like “why isn’t she moving?” and “Why is she so cold now?” and it’s sad

It wasn’t bad, but I got to the end just thought “what was the point?”

Lets be honest, this author wasn’t coming up with a better ending no matter how long you give them.

I thought so as well, at first, but ending with "...she'll come to me someday." seems to imply that she's still waiting. One can only hope she did notice, though.

I’m looking for one where this girl is always dreaming of this other girl she’s in love with (pretty sure the dreams are about sex, but I can’t remember for certain) and eventually one of her ‘dreams’ turns out to be actually happening.

I think it is less of a "turning into a lesbian" thing and more like a really horrible experience that can make one realize that there are "other and often better options" available. But I'm a man so what do I know?

The concept of single-target sexuality, where you have a fairly established sexuality (or asexuality) and then a single individual who falls outside of that sexuality interests you, might be what’s happening here. It could be that the way Ayumu treats her compared to others had such an impact that she developed this type of attraction. That said, here’s no particular indication that this MC isn’t just interested in women generally and it wouldn’t be an important distinction anyway, in my opinion.

One thing I don’t get is tho, why so many of these manga involve rape?

When a character has some sort of character flaw due to past trauma, rape is just the go-to thing. Presumably because it’s traumatic enough that almost no matter how bad the character acts, you still feel sympathy toward them.

I honestly agree. Futa gets a pretty bad rep on all sides for some reason, even though it's basically just yuri with a meat dildo. The best of both worlds and stuff. I dunno, it shouldn't be as offensive as it seems to be for some reason.

Dude, the art of these two gets worse over time. You look at the first pictures of these two posted and it’s waaaay better than the more recent ones.

Well, the romantic undertones are much more obvious much earlier on in this version. I think I prefer the slow burn of the other, but this is nice too.

I find it really surprising that so many people like Amane. I think she's incredibly annoying. She's short-sighted, narrow-minded, and embodies an anime archetype I despise. The short, pig-tailed, cutesy girl with lots of energy and an inferiority complex. I've seen her a thousand times and I never like her any more than I did the last time. She's stuck in the past and I don't want her getting back with Nene. She needs to learn to face reality and respect the feelings of others. But she's so loud and selfish that she only sees what she wants to. I can't stand her. Chapter 5 is easily the worst so far.

Didn't like how insecure Ayano came across personally. Not sure about her personality in this. But overall this was cute and I enjoyed it.

To be fair, Ayano is always portrayed as an insecure mess around TOSHINO KYOUUUKO!
This is already her much more courageous version considering she managed to confess.

She’s definitely an absolute mess around Kyouko most of the time, but as the series goes on, she definitely gets braver and more open, and Kyouko covers for her when she’s not. Season 3 episodes 2 and 7 give me life
