Dude, the art of these two gets worse over time. You look at the first pictures of these two posted and it’s waaaay better than the more recent ones.

^ Don't know what kind of glasses you had but i sugger to change them because the art was worse in the first pictures. Also it seem we need the Childhoods friends tags no ?

@gomezio I think it's all an elaborate artistic roadmap, in five years their work is going to consist entirely of surreal cubist paintings.

I don't know about other pictures, but this one definitely looks a lot better than the usual ones. Maybe the artist just doesn't have the time to polish them this much anymore.

^^ Im gonna guess this is it. @Drpepperfan - you dont think this artists usual ones are the best they are capable of right? Its surely just a case of if you are churning out a 2 page comic strip every week or whatever, you really cant be spending the amount of time on every panel that drawing to this quality would take.
It IS a lot nicer looking :) But Im gonna guess we would get like a third or even less the output if they were done like this. I'd maybe go for the art quality over quantity myself tho :)
@ Lilliwyt - I wonder if they are younger here? (they have the same uniform, it doesn't look like a middle school uniform- and their top outfits look a bit too mature) or is it just a more chibby/moe art style? If you look at the earlier ones on the site, they do actually look a bit more like this (younger) than the currant ones. Has time actually passed during all these releases? I dont recall mention of them moving up years etc- but maybe they actually are older now?
They look super cute either way.

^ I can argue that the second one could be present but in the first one they really are younger.

I did notice they look much cuter than usual in this one compared to the others, but I didn't really notice much in the way of differences between the other ones.
I wonder if this happens because the artist has less time or is trying a less moe style.
Regardless of the reason, I love both girls and their domestic life.

I notice the quality drop when they are in profile:

But in older pics the profile is way better:
