I don't remember anything about a village attack being mentioned.

A few chapters back, the villagers said that the monsters had been acting weird and then suddenly they attacked the village and that's why the villagers were advised to stay inside and be protected by the MCs. That's also why the Demon Lord girl went out to save her friend. So according to Future!Elsa, this is supposed to be a turning point for the storyline/future because that's where Evie dies.

I don't expect anyone saying "I cant' believe you murdered my father! alright THAT'S IT! you're not getting pudding tonight!"

Personally I'd rather be able to blacklist or identify the tag so I wouldn't see the work and accidentally check out the source. Or worst yet, not see the source link because it was removed (for reasons unaware) and look it up for myself.

The blacklist function doesn't work on images, they would still show up all the same. Not my area of the site though, so I don't have much else to add.

I don't think cheating is necessarily done with the intent of malice, but that doesn't excuse the consequences and trauma of such an act

as an aside... I def vibe with the author's other work more in any case, but as someone else said earlier in the thread, the common theme seems to be an interestingly unusual dynamic between the MCs.

i've never worked textile retail so i can't speak for this industry, but i think it's important to note that the person giving professional opinion to the author/artist comes from a completely different side of the industry than an actual retail worker so i can understand why the lens are so ..... glossy and vibrant and not jaded and exhausted hahaha

I agree! also the way this story is being published is pretty sporadic from the author's weibo. these pieces that we've seen translated and are reading now are from a little while back already. it's bits and pieces because it's not a serialized work needing to have a strong plot to drive the work, but almost rather a slice of life with just enough information to tease the readers constantly.

i'm sure it'll at some point pick up the pace because the author likely already has milestone/specific story points in mind as she character/world builds, but it's quite cute to just relax and check in on youzi's life with her mom and auntie ren lol

It's not a harem, it's a triangle plot. She's stuck between the gentle, dashing and heroic heroine and the utilitarian but harboring a secret soft side villainess

kyouko looks like she's being set up to be a pushover and midori (i think that's her name?) seems like she's being propped to "learn" how to love, in this story. ngl, I'm a little tired of this kind of plotline so I might check back in a few chapters later to see how the comments are doing.

hope it's actually a fluffy heartwarming story--- I understand and like that the author is trying to make all the men seem very nice ™️ here but i'm not entirely sure how it's gonna pan out when time comes for the conflict part of this story.

hmm, I don't think she's gonna turn out yandere, but I think the author definitely put effort into making her into a character that smiles with her mouth and not with her eyes. (imo it's the "fake" smiling that has us thinking its "crazy" person territory). we'll just have to see!

i hope so too! Sekihara's in a circle named Niratama as the main artist and they collab with a story writer named Hirohito to churn out great stuff (Precure, Vocaloid, Revue, Love Live, Kancolle, Original works, etc). Usually artist circles like these don't seem to normally serialize in my opinion, but one can hope. Specifically something I've found that's interesting is that their works together usually center a lot on eating out each other, which personally I think is really neat bc they do it well too

Stuff Sekihara has been recently working on is mostly het, from what I can see on their twitter. should note that they call themselves an omnivorous artist
