"Most valuable player." It's usually a sports term/award given to a player who is deemed to be the most indispensable to his/her team's success.

Sounds like she's aware of the basic principles, going by how she started connecting the dots at "in and out". Seems more like she's blanking out on sheer emotional confusion.

Probably comes down to having to suddenly cope with the whole shebang of "passion" with no forewarning or prior experience. "Deep end of the pool and no floater" kind of situation.

Almost reminds me of Yuu from YagaKimi. Yuu, obviously, doesn't seem as dense to the prospect of relationships between two women as Maki does here, but they both clearly suffer from a lack of sense for the passion involved with a romantic relationship, as you pointed out.

Someone may have already said something similar, but this subtext seems to have been put in bold and italicized to go along with a marked increase in font size.

Just me spitballing into the wind here, but if was Kase, I'd be more irked about the name issue. From what I understand of Japanese culture regarding name and honorific usage, it's just silly (maybe borderline insulting) to hold your girlfriend that much farther away (socially speaking) than a friend you just made.

This may be a silly question, but why is the posted release date November 30, 2017 when it came out on Dynasty on March 30, 2018? Is that an actual publication date for the chapter in Japan or something?
