It seems like this was part of a Promare AU.

The first two chapters seem to be out of order.

Other than that, this seems like it could be interesting and I wasn't expecting Frost to have an full on henshin sequence. With that said, she's a bit—extremely—incompetent.

I know Christmas isn't as big of a thing in Japan, but inviting her over to, presumably, talk to her dad about music on that day still seems like a bit much. Even without the prom that was just announced, isn't it still something of an event where you'd expect people to be making plans with their families, friends, or loved ones?

Although, with that said, the prom seems to start at 6:00pm, and a lot of romantic activity tends to happen in the evening, or later. It seems unlikely her dad would want to talk business that late, so unless Aya had plans to spend the whole day with Koga, it realistically shouldn't cause that much of a scheduling conflict.

Still awful timing and a bit rude.

I kind of love how she went from "I've never been excited by girls either" to "isn't one week too short" over the course of less than a day.

I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but was the entire start of this show an extended lesbian joke, complete with a not!Uhaul?

I think I'm going to need a spinoff series based on this group of side characters. The dynamic seems like it could be entertaining.

I can help but notice that the first account that followed her is named 8ha7na5ko3san and I can't help but wonder if a certain ghost might make an appearance. I also wonder if those numbers have any significance I'm missing.

I did notice that tag, but I just saw the "Something"-heart names and jumped to Precure, which is extra silly, because that's not even the naming format Precure uses.

Why are there so many Touhou characters with similar sounding names that start with Y? Off the top of my head there's Yukari, Yuuka, Yuuma, Yuyuko, and Youmu and I'm pretty sure there are more.

I haven't actually played the game, but considering the first episode came out in 2023, I don't think it "aged poorly" so much as it's commenting on an ongoing issue for the US.

I vaguely remember a manga from a while back where one of the characters wore the opposite gender’s school uniform by abusing the loophole that their school’s regulations only required the students to wear “the” school uniform, but didn’t specify if it had to be the boys’ or girls’ one.

A few years ago I read an article about some Japanese schools intentionally changing their regulations like that in order to become more accommodating for trans students. Some schools went even further by only requiring students’ school uniforms to consist of the approved items, so students were free to mix and match as they wanted. Apparently, the girls’ blouse and blazer with the boys’ pants became a popular combination for girls in winter, to the surprise of absolutely no-one.

This chapter seemed less coherent than most of the others.

... I like that shirt. I also liked a few of Nina's outfits from her performances and I'm kind-of curious if something similar can be found for every day in the US.

Clearly we need a version of this where the Japanese girl is the leader of a sukeban gang and the Korean girl is their equivalent of moe.

Those kiss marks are a lot less appealing when you realize they're supposed to be pudding and not lipstick. It strikes me as very sticky, and not in a good way.
