It's a humorous way of concluding a story and confirming that they had sex. It's in my opinion a perfectly fine thing to use when writing. Maybe sex isn't something the author is comfortable with going into detail, or any other number of reasons. This instead gets the point across in a comedic way and doesn't change the tone by getting directly explicit with the content.

By the way, this reminds me of an old anechdote. When I was playing Valkyrie Profile, one of the battle lines of the little miko character (yes, a frigging Japanese miko in a game about Norse mythology, go figure) read something like "I've drawn kichi, average fortune"; I'm not a native English speaker and I misheard it as "I'm bronchitic! Horrible fortune!"

Same thing. Yuri is the original and official term for all girlxgirl stuff. From what I recall, shoujo ai is just a term coined by the west to signify a lesbian relationship that focuses more on the platonic and "chaste" type of relationship while outright avoiding the explicit and steamy lesbian realtionships. If we were to go by western standards, then Strawberry Panic would probably be considered shoujo ai as most of the relationships there are sisterly and "chaste," with characters kissing and hugging each other but nothing more. That is, assuming I'm remembering Strawberry Panic correctly. Been years since I last watched the anime adaption.

Yeah, that's pretty much it: the Japanese term for the female equivalent to 少年愛 "shounen ai" would be ガールズラブ "girls love" (yeah, literally). Paradoxically, "shoujo ai" is the English term for "girls love". In Japan, 少女愛 "shoujo ai" is a specific subgenre of lolicon porn: straight sex between an adult man and an underage girl.

I do, albeit rarely. I don't like how writing with a pencil feels; and I play roleplay games, you can't just write on your character sheet with a pen.

Strictly speaking, やおい 'yaoi' is the Japanese term for gay porn aimed at straight females (as opposed to 薔薇 'bara', gay porn for the tastes of gay men). I don't know of any Japanese term that is the male equivalent to 'yuri', that is, everything that is gay. (Or of any specific term for 'lesbian porn', for that matter)

But that isn't what the yaoi tag means in Dynasty, though. Here, yaoi is used as the equivalent of yuri. And that's ok.

Now that I think of it, there's some weird shit I learned about in an old workplace of mine. We had a server in a small office there, and whenever you had to sit there to do stuff, you got überzapped when you tried to open the door again.

So people taught me a trick. Thing is, those static discharges set off at the moment you close the circuit. So if you just go and touch ground (ground in the electric sense, not the floor; e.g. somepony else, or a doorknob) with your hand then the spark forms at your hand, which is rather sensitive and thus it stings.
But if you hop and then touch the knob while you are airborne, then at that moment you are isolated and the circuit remains open, and when you touch the floor again you ground there and the spark forms at your shoes' soles, which don't hurt. Unless you are barefoot. In that case this trick doesn't really help.
