Mask-sempai, we understand, we know what makes her tick, but Kaoru, as a character, isn't she, like, an empty shell? There's almost nothing to her except her vamp ways and a tendency to break down (and become obsessive) when she's rejected

But she's really cute around her sister, it really makes me feel conflicted hehehe

Oh, you! You just made me think of Kaoru x Honoka.

Please excuse me while I grab a tissue for my nosebleed.

The upside is, she just realised in full exactly why she keeps getting so antsy around mother dearest.

And she learned a few useful techniques to try on said mother, eh?

...maybe? We don't actually know how far Miyuki ultimately got with her, do we? thinking.jpg

Ah, I was thinking about her "kissing techniques" -- but I see your point.

Speaking of... and her very first appearance was engaging in some Is My Hobby Weird level shenanigans.

Thanks for the reminder.
I had completely forgotten that she originally was that type of character.
Quiet ones, indeed.

Just read the 2 new chapters. Lots of squees were vocalized.

I'll refrain from comments until upload. For now, I'll just say one thing:

The one who wrote this...

There were hints before, but it's obvious now: Onibi-sempai and Mask-sempai are true soulmates. They share a deep bond unique to them. They are ideally suited to one another, and Kaoru should go find someone else.

... is a good judge of character.

ASUKA SHUT YOUR DAMN MOTHER LOVING MOUTH

Lol, too late. The cat is out of the bag, the jig is up, the beans have been spilled, the laundry has been exposed, she blew her cover, let out the skeleton and showed her true colors.

Chie x Ai are technically in the closet because they're nervous about their classmates response...

But they're not in the closet very well, basically anyone who pays attention knows the two of them are dating.

That bit about tv dramas and marriage was very nice.

"Aah... it's very late, so she left... I don't want that... I don't want us to be apart... I want her to stay by my side all night long...
Huh, how funny! In those tv dramas, when the leading man realizes that he wants a certain girl to be always by his side, that's when he has the epiphany that he wants to marry her! Hmm..."

Congrats, Nononon, it looks like Yumimi has fallen for you.

Yup, even though you didn't do squat to court her and win her heart.

Some people just have all the darn luck.

Also an interesting aspect of Aya and Risa's dynamic is that, considering Aya's personality, I think she wouldn't date a woman on her own initiate.

Aya could be a poster girl for Tsunderes Anonymous.

Except that would make her not so anonymous anymore, so it prolly won't happen.

Lol if I didn't read this, that chapter woulda flown right over my head. I thought Aya got a haircut and that they were actually in college all along. I was so confused HAH.

I think it was the transition from black bars (childhood flashback) to no black bars (which usually indicate present day) that did me in lol

Yes that was confusing af. I wasn't sure at first what was flashback and what wasn't.

Sorry to be a bit late to the party here. The music Aria plays in Ch. 5 is in fact the oldest piece of music known to survive with complete words and music, the Epitaph of Seikilos, nearly 2000 years old.

Aww. Fitting that she plays the oldest music known to man. She prolly remembers when it was the latest hit in the Greek charts.

Y'all remember Kimi wa Shoujo... right? Such a lovely yuri story, beautifully written and beautifully drawn. The tale of a 14-year-old baby lesbian who starts crushing like crazy on a stunningly gorgeous adult lady – and then sees all her secret wishes come true as this lady takes her to her bed and teaches her all about sapphic sex. The teen girl acts as the narrator and, in the last chapter, several years later, when she's an adult herself, she tells us how wonderful and pleasurable the experience was, how happy she was while it lasted and how sad she was when it ended. She's so clear about that, it really leaves no room for anyone to complain or revile anything. And yet there are 20 pages of angry comments in this forum (that's 500+ posts), most of them shrieking rape and pedophilia and damning this manga to hell. >_<

<3 Me encanta."

I loved the exchange between Kasumi & her mom.
Mom: blah blah blah
Kasumi: I didn't get a word you said.
Mom: Sigh! Switch to Sakurako-chan, she's more savvy than you.

I love how mom knows, without even asking, that Sakurako is there right at Kasumi's side and that she has both the authority and the capacity to make all decisions related to Kasumi's cosmetics.

also lol @ someone forgetting to apply screentone for a panel

There's more than that.

Kasumi is wearing a sleeveless white top, a skirt, a necklace and no earrings. Ruriko is wearing a square-patterned dress, dangle earrings and no necklace, and has her hair in a ponytail.

In the 3rd panel on the right, the "blonde" girl (we assume it's Kasumi) wears a square-patterned dress and a necklace, while Ruriko (hair in a ponytail) wears the sleeveless white top and the dangle earrings.

Someone made a mess of that panel.

kawaii = cute
kakkoii = cool
"Kawaii" = ¿linda? ¿tierna? ¿dulce? ¿adorable? Tiene un poco de todas.
Y "Kakkoii" = ¿guay? ¿genial?
