So, why is this chapter being posted here first? Usually it's on mangadex first, isn't it?

I only read it on here so I don't know the details, but I can say Mangadex has been a burning boat this month. So I'm not surprised if Dynasty gets priority now.

Soooo... did they keep baby Frost's gender a secret back then? Because if not, her father must have pulled a son from somewhere in the official narrative, which makes the entire suspected cheating-debacle ... hypocritical?

I'm on the fence with this chapter too ... it really is just one big exposition and I hope not symptomic of the series getting reduced in scope.

Sounds like when the wife and kid were forced to live in the tower they were mostly out of sight and out of mind. Then from there when her father made her fight on the front-lines she was assigned the role of another male soldier. Maybe there are/were a few close people that know her real identity but they didn't want to betray the family, or were scared to do so. Some more details could have been included to clarify things, but I thought it was a fine summary of Frost giving her wife the general gist. Plus I figure we might learn more later as well.

I'm happy to get more of the series, I'm simply not a fan of drama stemming from overhearing only part of a conversation. We'll see if it goes that route as there are other ways to continue the series, and other ways to work drama into the story. Which regardless I'm still going to enjoy the upcoming chapters, I'm merely stating my own opinion on the cliffhanger on this forum meant to discuss the series.

...well ig that's not the point of this chapter though. From the setup, I actually feel like the call will go the opposite way people are thinking - as in, Tongtong will actually get to hear "ok I actually do the chores but look I love my gf anyway" and feel validated rather than misunderstand

Yeah it's definitely possible that the cliffhanger is a fake out, where she might hear positive words that make her feel good at the start of the next chapter. I really hope the phone call doesn't resort in drama that takes several chapters to resolve, though I think either way we'll get some solid couple progression between these two.

This chapter was a mixed bag for me; on one hand, it's nice that the drama didn't get pointlessly dragged on, but at the same time, it feels like everything was solved way too easily. As someone mentioned earlier, this pretty much cleared 95% of the major plot points we had, so is hard to tell where the story will go now. Furthermore, Frost's backstory was surprisingly straightforward. Again, normally I would be happy with this, but for some reason I feel unsatisfied with the reveals, and given her personality, I doubt she is an unreliable narrator. That said, something odd is definitely happening with her, I'm willing to be that white hair has a larger meaning than just being an albino or her dad losing the fight with recessive genes.

Lastly, Dahlia is about to do something stupid, isn't she?

Fair enough, I'm very satisfied with the reveals myself but you can't please everyone as the saying goes.

Oh my double chapter. Well it looks like I was way off with thinking after the first 2 chapters that this would go the route of student and teacher, the rejection was proper. The question is now what with the police? lmao

Idk what's happening in the comments but I like seeing things unfold in the story I think it's interesting so far :3

She already feels inadequate, so being topped and the ending is probably a negative for her self esteem. The one area she had practiced all season and been proud of was also done super well by her girlfriend, so what is her unique contribution? I don't think she'll feel great. Seems like that's what we've been building to with all this Dom training stuff. It all came from her desire to do more.

Yeah they have some things to work out. It felt like the night went pretty well though and that they've been communicating, so the drama stemming from overhearing the phone call feels weird to me. I know that happens fairly often in stories and real life as well, but it's definitely frustrating lol
