At least it managed to encompass everything that's wrong about Japanese idols. Screw singing skills, just strip.

What precisely is the question? What jpg artifacts are? ^^;

.jpgs are generally used to save space (unlike for example .pngs), and they can do so by compressing images. But when doing so they lose information; generally it'll be noticeable in a slight "blur" of things - or artifacts, when ie a pure white background suddenly is made up of five different shades of white.

For stuff like photographs it's usually not all that noticeable if the compression isn't too large - but it works much worse (and might actually not decrease the file size at all) for other styles, like pixel graphics (say you have a picture that only uses precisely 256 colors in a paletted png, save it as jpeg, suddenly it has all sort of tones ... quality will be worse and size, too), or, mh, manga and their clear black/white line style.

Google can provide some comparison examples if you need them ;)

Mhm. It's a bit lazy though using that "catch me" trope to figure out her true feelings in a manga where the heroine literally can read the other's mind. I mean ... it's already cheesy as anything in typical romance stories. But here? ^^;

Next chapter: "please go to chapter 1 and start reading again".

I'm not saying she should, but Jeez, her powers would be so easy to be abusively manipulative in a relationship. And power corrupts!

Nonetheless I hope it'll actually go there and show how they'll deal with that ^^;

"I'm wearing underwear, but it's not helping."
Such a great quote that's appropriate in so many situations. Funerals. Bad movies. Exams. And so on.

I think everyone has a few of those super-delicate and therefore annoying pieces of clothing somewhere.

Sometimes her method even works.

I mean, I like it as a cute comedy love story, but it's really not good at being a supernatural drama as well, despite trying so hard.

I don't think it's trying to be that at all. The sheer dismissive all characters immediately show at any sort of problem suggests to me this is done on purpose (and I mean, same author as Prunus Girl, they didn't just forget how to write "uncertainty" ... )

I don't even think that the points brought up need to change much (although that might not hurt either). But I do agree that there should be something to frame the events so far. Doesn't have to be relationship drama or even the typical sinister government organization or secret Vatican vampire hunters.

But, for example, there could be something about her dealing with the fact that everyone (except Nana) will die long before her. And it could be expanded on her figuring out what she wants to do with her immortality etc. That wouldn't even take anything away from the slice-of-life-ishness of the series.

Or maybe something about other vampires, or maybe there are other supernatural creatures around that can add a bit of "let's explore this new supernatural world I'm now part of" or whatever.

I do like the series - and the absence of a story is kind of part of that - but it might not have hurt having one either.

Just the right amount of stupid.

Unfortunately not surprising, altogether.

Slow-paced with not much of a plot and not all that much character development, no action, no ecchiness, no male lead for the masses, but too many males for some purity-fags, some comedy, but not quite in current 4-koma gag style, art different from the typical current style, and the chapters are fairly long so it takes a bunch of magazine pages.

Admittedly, a bit more of a plot I wouldn't mind either ...

Ah, that's fucked up in a nice way.

...

I'll have to give it a try at some point.

Ah, so much fun moments.

Also: yes! Have Nanase move in. Oh, and show us what she tells her parents, please - "I'm moving in with my immortal girl friend and her vampire master. Kthxbye."

Don't think she actually said it, to be honest. That's why the teacher is still asking instead of just telling the story. It's just that their thought kinda aligned. I think.

I like that she still messes up her test and it's not some cheesy miracle great grades suddenly thing.

Also, Ayako's weakness are snakes. Asuka has slit pupils. CONNECTION??!

I think you are on to something here.

But snakes are the symbol of straight-forward earnestness! They'd never do as a taboo-breaking temptation of biblical proportions!

By the way ... Mori means forest, right? Like a sort of place with lots of trees. #conspiracy

Reminds me of some of my fever dreams, so I can actually see this as terrifying ... even if it's pretty funny from an outside perspective :p

Well, the development makes sense, doesn't it? Qui Tong at this point wouldn't admit to having felt "stood up" (so it isn't mistaken for "possible romantic affection") ... and Sun Jing isn't just randomly going to admit to having been to confessed to by someone else.

So both go on as if nothing has happened. Which people do all the time.

Usually it comes back to bite them sooner or later; and I'll guess we'll see then whether it mattered or not. ^^

Murder? I don't see where that could be murder here.

Well, the "husband" could have figured out that there was something good going on, and, outraged, made it look like a suicide. A word or two to the police - clearly she was disturbed, sleeping with another woman - and he totally got away with it.

Now the outraged yuri-spirit haunts the heroine so she finally brings justice to the perpetrators.

And thus this kicks-off the adventures of the hard-boiled yuri PI ...

Would be an interesting twist though; her yuri-sense picking up the residual yuri-tragedy in the place she's living and then her going to try and figure out what happened to the surviving one ... and then there was age-gap romance.

Glad to see someone is actually looking at the pictures in this visual medium. You don't waste panels in a 8 page long story if it isn't significant and in this case, it's a very blatant hint.

I was too distracted by socks. Look at the ones the "heroine" wears. Then at the one we see of the one who killed herself.
...

Well. But reincarnation/past life makes sense, insofar such things make sense.

Hurm. This is too "let's be edgy" for me. That sort of stuff can be great ... but this just feels vaguely random.

I mean, amnesia, sure, maybe, but are there actual hints to that? Did she also change her name along the way somehow? ^^;

I don't like the way chapter 7 unfolded.

Might have helped explaining what precisely you object to instead of just going on some rant ^^;
