whew i just finished watching this, and wow Ise Mariya's range is amazing!

i just noticed we don't have I'm a Cabaret Hostess But I Fell For a College Girl / Kyaba Jou Dakedo JD ni Otosaremashita / キャバ嬢だけどJDに落とされました

one of her few series with / about adults.
it's very cute — and fully translated by zeztie (who do not seem to be blacklisted)

The melancholy of how each of these chapter endings reminds me of Cowboy Bebop.

It makes me really curious of where this is going, but more so, of how it will get there.

I've now read thru all 103 currently available parts (32?) chapters of this. as I've written elsewhere, I can't actually read, so please forgive for not reading all ten pages of spoiler ridden posts in this this thread… (also, I don't have the energy to read MTL.)

regardless, i have a question, about Miyagi, mostly:

Both characters read as having (childhood) trauma about close relationships, but in addition to that, Miyagi reads as autistic (af).
Which is funny, because she's the one with actual friends, while to Sendai friends are purely a function of surviving society (high school).

What are your thoughts and feelings?
Am I very wrong with my assessment?

took me five days to catch up to the current status of the　ｈｕｍａｎ　translation, but I guess I can now confirm: I can, indeed, read (when it's smut).

it's quite simple: the last time I finished a book that wasn't work related, or had no pictures telling half the story was probably some time before my daughter was born.

I have (something like) dyslexia.
I have (something like) ADHD.
I've had several burn outs.

Reading is hard.
My brain is fried.
That makes reading a lot harder.

I don't remember the early chapters that well, but this felt like a really explicit showing of Yoshiko's romantic interest in Hanayo. I thought it might have been more ambiguous before, but maybe I don't remember it that well.

Yoshiko takes Hanayo on a date ( https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/hanamonogatari_ch03#22 ) to make her a perfume, and then to dinner. The perfume making place (https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/hanamonogatari_ch04#21 ) and the restaurant (https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/hanamonogatari_ch05#8 ) are both run by two women that Yoshiko knows. Hanayo finally asks, and the lady at the restaurant confirms that she and the perfume lady are a lesbian couple. Hanayo cries in the restaurant bathroom upon the realisation that there are other paths she could've followed in life, and that there are people her age who have braved those paths (https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/hanamonogatari_ch05#26 ) .
