Really wonderful chapter that reassured me in how this was going to go. ...and then the end came, promising all kinds of drama. I hope Naoko-sensei can keep it to a mild level, because I am enjoying this a lot so far.

Thank you, Chaosteam.

Well, I wasn't really expecting a continuation, but if I had been I wouldn't have expected it to still not really address the immortality problem. Let alone the fact that it would become suddenly mired in an apparent obsession with virgin fetishism and nonsensical ideas about hymens of the kind more commonly found in - and certainly best left to - the most hackneyed and creepy of male-envisioned het porn. It does not belong in yuri.

Definitely Ayanero's weakest offering yet I feel. Thanks anyway, hentropy.

Justice was done. The insidious thing about bullies is that they are playing a game by societal rules they believe they understand, rules that will protect them from consequences - and usually, they're right. They know just what to do and how to do it to avoid retribution. The system protects and enables their behavior, rewarding both their arrogance and, paradoxically, their cowardice.

But sometimes, it turns out that they were wrong. Things were not as they were relying upon them being. The seemingly safe and clear rules of the game they thought they were playing break down. It doesn't happen often, and if it does it usually comes with consequences of its own, but there is no greater or sweeter vengeance to be perpetrated than this, the sudden destruction of the world they thought they were so cleverly manipulating.

Truly, a very happy ending, and aptly named. Thank you for your efforts, Natsurei.

That's some of the most mutually happy sex I've seen in a while. Also I like how it sidesteps the situation in the real manga...

Thanks /u/.

Pretty sure "The Evil Magistrate" means the old "pull on the obi and spin the lady as it comes off" gag, haha. Absolutely fantastic. Thank you, Mumei.

Well, after the last chapter I said I would wait to see what happened, but I don't think I can withhold judgement of Kousaka any longer. People are talking about "this is what an age gap would actually be like", except that in no other age gap yuri story I know of does the (significantly) older woman immediately force herself sexually on the younger. The only one I can think of that even comes close is Chiba Jirou's "Girl Meets Girl", but the worst the older one did there was kiss the younger in a momentary loss of self control.

In that story, when they meet again (though years later) the older woman is at pains to clarify the desperate nature of her desire, then and now, but still seeks understanding and clear assent from the younger before doing anything sexual. It's actually one of my old favorites due to the lonely forbearance Sensei showed in carrying such a strong passion for years.

Even what Kousaka did would've been forgivable, or at least tolerable within the bounds of the story, if they had talked afterward about what had happened, if Kousaka had explained the nature of her desire and what it had just led to. It still would not have been "good", but it would've been better.

Instead, she left this poor little girl confused about what had happened, ashamed without knowing why, and alienated from what had been her normal life. You can argue about the semantics of whether it was "rape", but it was absolutely and unquestionably child abuse.

As others have said, the author is clearly taking this approach deliberately, with the aim of depicting a messy and unhealthy situation in a compelling way. It certainly has established such a situation strongly, but I'm not yet convinced there is a goal beyond sensationalism, or the writing chops with which to plot an acceptable path out of it. Would it even be acceptable for them to end up together? Not for me I think, if I'm really honest.

Huh. Well...I admit I'm still interested because, let's be honest, the older person in age gap stories is not often depicted as the aggressive/assertive one, for the obvious reason that it's difficult to do that and not have it come of as predatory, abuse of authority, etc. Rightly or wrongly, I don't feel it has crossed into that territory yet, even with what happened here, but more communication and characterization is desperately needed to flesh out this situation, ASAP.

Which I guess in the end just boils down to it having hooked me into badly wanting more. XP

Thanks again, /u/.

Well, I liked it a lot, both the art and the content. I'm a fan of this kind of messy, sketchy style, and the setup reminds me some of Shoujo Holic, which is an old favorite of mine. Thanks /u/.

Well happy end I guess, though no real closure on her immortality problem.
She doesn't even remember what she was doing more than a hundred years ago, so although she found love and understanding for the moment...

She does say she hasn't tested suicide yet, so ironically, the best ending may be her doing that after her life with her lover comes to a close. What a statement on the human condition that that's the best that can be hoped for, dying rather than living so long you lose who you once were, the feelings that were once everything to you, the time in which you belonged. You hardly have to live hundreds of years for that to happen, though. I doubt I'm the only one among the more aged yuri fans among us that feels like it already has.

Thanks for your efforts, hentropy.

Late to this - in fact I only found it due to a fluke, as I pretty much never read Touhou stuff - but as a tea fanatic, it sure spoke to me.

Gyokuro, and all Japanese greens in fact, are very temperamental about temperature and brew time, it's true. Anything more than about 2 minutes of steeping and it will start to turn bitter. I usually do it for around 1 minute 40 seconds. Believe me, it will NOT be weak, but a rich, soupy broth with a smell so savory it honestly always makes me think of roasted chicken. The flavor however, is of course deeply vegetal, somewhat reminiscent of nori. Properly brewed Gyokuro is absolutely delicious.

As for temperature, it's not depicted here because of the setitng of course, but modern Japan has sophisticated electric water boilers on the market where you can set the temperature you want, do a self-cleaning cycle, and even have it turn itself on with a timer. I own one in fact, a gift from my mother. It's been in continuous operation for about five years now... Blacks can go to 212 of course, but I find 195 fine for most applications, and this is also the temperature to do whites and oolongs at. Greens are really the only type that needs to go lower. 175 is recommended but I actually think that's a little TOO lukewarm for me, so I tend to still do 195 and just do a second container pour-through, leaving it at around 180 or so I would assume.

When it comes to amount, I tend to do 6.5 grams for 2.5ish cups of water. It's a generous amount that will still fit into most large cups or glasses (I drink out of a wide bowl these days), and this ratio seems to produce a consistently good level of brew strength across all kinds of tea - for me at least. Note that green teas don't rebrew particularly well; the second one will be drinkable but much weaker, and third ones pass what I think of as the boundary between actual "tea" and "tea-flavored water". :P

Still, as said Gyokuro is not cheap, so you might end up doing it a third time anyway just to get your money's worth. Oolongs rebrew the best, especially the balled-up "gunpowder" varieties. Even a third brew will be quite good. White tea and black tea come after that, with still-pretty-good second brews but thirds quite weak.

Anyway, thanks for your efforts, Waffle.

One of Asagi Ryuu's best works yet. Loving adult couple in long-term and established relationship. Zero drama, just beautiful reflections on how they got together and how happy they are now, and mutually enthuastic, mutually pleasurable eroticism.

Thank you, Yuri-ism.

That is certainly a possibility, but as I said, these sorts of views about the "purity" of non-sexual yuri in contrast to carnal lesbianism are not uncommon.

This makes me sad, and lowers my opinion of Tamamusi. Whatever that couple is or isn't doing, if it works for both of them and they're satisfied, there's nothing to say there. However, to look down on the alternative as being less "pure" is nasty, and Tamamusi's characterization of it as "noble" is also quite unpleasant in what it implies. That these attitudes still seem quite prevalent among yuri artists - I have seen quite a few voice or suggest similar views - is perplexing and disheartening.

Not a fan of this turn of events much. As others have pointed out, it is consistent with Kase's past characterization; she has always been possessive of Yamada and feared losing her, but it's never manifested in such an unhealthy way before. No doubt Kase is feeling more anxious about holding onto Yamada than ever, but this is not a defensible way to do it.

Even if Kase's behavior wasn't a calculated move to keep Yamada under control, she still lied in a way that would make Yamada feel bad about herself, rather than just telling her the truth - and Kase should know, from many prior interactions, that Yamada doesn't think much of herself and would easily be damaged by such remarks.

Very sad story in many ways. 1&2 could be said to have made two missteps, the first in casting off their bodies and existence as human beings, the second in choosing to die to fulfill a romanticized notion of "eternity".

It's a fact that the human condition, and the familiar and perennially desired human happinesses that we chase, are defined in a large part by our physical bodies. Even at the beginning of the story, when you realize that their still-beautiful bodies must've been disposed of as medical waste after the procedure, it's quite chilling.

And yet, having once done so, 1&2 could've gone on living that thoroughly inhuman existence for vastly longer and been fine. It was only the vestiges of their attachment to the human condition - the very thing that they had chosen to cast off - that told them it was unsatisfactory. The human mind rebels against the idea of a forever static and unchanging state. Even if that state, objectively, could be considered superior to what we know as human life. The second tragedy was giving that up in service of a flawed, but admittedly very human, idea.

That being the case, it could be said that they returned to being fully human in their final act. That doesn't make it any better though. The best that can be said is that it effectively captures what a contradictory mess we truly are as a species. Such is the nature of humanity, without a doubt.

Thank you very much for your work on this contemplative title, Bunny Love.

Magnificent. The "boyish kid I played with as a child grew up into a beautiful young woman" is one of my favorite yuri plot devices, but this is the first time I've seen it done double. (You'd think somebody would've thought of that sooner...) Now I need a whole manga of them, please.

Thank you very much, Mumei Scanlation.
