The only hololive member I'm aware of that's confirmed gay is Matsuri. She has talked about her ex-girlfriend, as well as brought up her fear of getting too close to the other girls, as she doesn't want to develop feelings for them. Matsuri is very much hopelessly gay/bi.

In contrast, the other "canon" pairings I am familiar with are TakaMori and OkaKoro (I'm less familiar with Noel/Flare, but they are apparently very close). TokaMori never feels genuine to me. Afaik, they did not know each other before joining hololive, so their chemistry is very weak. OkaKoro on the other hand are close friends, and you can tell. Their playfullness feels very genuine, even if it is just platonic.

The thing people need to remember, is that simply following kayfabe isn't enough. Just because they play flirtatiously, doesn't mean they are attracted to each other. They all do this. The information Matsuri gave was deeply personal in nature(she is very open and intimate with her viewers; to a fault I would say), and speaks to aspects of her life that we simply don't know about the other girls. Please temper your expectations, and take the yuri goggles off when dealing with real people.

Nice contrast between the parents and the kids attitudes.

Tong Tong's mother is incredibly supportive of her daughter on everything and is always trying to help her in her unique way> Tong Tong inmediatly tells her about her self-discovery of liking girls and decides to actually pursue a relationship with her love interest.

Lin Xiao Lu's mother is (aparently) the worst kind of helicopter parent, always judging and controling of her daughter's actions> Lin Xiao Lu is terrified of anyone discovering she likes girls and her first reaction to realizing she might be attracted to someone was to try and distance herself from that person.

Really showing good and bad parenting can afect the lives of those under it.

That's an interesting way of looking at it. I assumed that she distanced herself from Tongtong because she was afraid of falling in love with her, but this seems like another possible scenario. I suppose the author will explore this as their relationship progresses. At least, I assume they will, given how much thought they've put into the story so far.

God, my heart is melting. Tongtong's relationship with her mother may very well be the greatest parent/child dynamic I've ever seen. It is such a breath of fresh air to see how Tongtong isn't afraid of being open about her sexuality with her mom, and how her mom is fully supportive and willing to help her through her journey of self-discovery. It makes me want to strive for that kind of connection with my own children, should I ever become a parent myself.

We could certainly use an old age tag, but that wouldn't necessarily cover what I'm describing. A death/dying tag might be helpful, but I could also think of plenty of situations where it would be a spoiler. A way to hide spoiler tags would be interesting, but then comes the discussion of what constitutes as a "spoiler". I certainly think this is worth considering, especially having been spoiled by tags before. That's a different discussion though.

Yeah, the spoiler part is tough. I'd love to have spoiler tag functionality, but it's not in our pipeline, so we'll work with what we have. While I don't think a Dying tag has much applicability in non-spoiler situations, I'll think on what might work better. This kind of leads me toward my preference for a general Trigger Warning tag that just includes all spoiler elements (including positive tags, many of which aren't tagged for spoiler reasons).

Any tag changes to this story will have to wait, but we'll have something done with them soon, sorry for the trouble.

Contributing to the tag discussion, how about an author tag?...Maybe something like "Sudou Yumi, beware!"?

I don't have very much knowledge on web design, so I'm not entirely sure what you mean by pipeline. Does it have to do with database stuff? If a system for differentiating spoiler tags isn't possible, then I can understand, but it is a real shame. The ability to check the individual tags would be ideal, rather than having them under Trigger Warning, which, and excuse me if I'm misinterpreting, seems far too vague to be anything but confusing.

As someone who is absolutely terrified of the finality of my own death, and by extension, growing old, I would rather not read stuff like this if I can avoid it.

Every modern phone I know other than Apple's rubbish uses USB-C. I've not seen one triple camera phone that uses Micro USB.

She's using a Galaxy S10 (I have the same phone). It uses USB-C, the specification for which was only published in 2014. She would have to have her charger on her.

DDLC needs a wingman mod, where you just help the girls get together with each other. It might already have one though.

Very clearly meant to be reversal that gradually gets worse and worse the more you read on. The revelation that Kuzawa loves her, but isn't allowed to act on those emotions in any way, even in a moment of supposed intimacy, is what really did me in. People on this site gotta realize that there are well written stories hidden in content that they may not like. Tmfly is a very talented writer, and she knows how to pack a complex narrative into a short format.

The author has done such a fantastic job of fleshing out Minami's character in just a few chapters. I sympathize with her a lot, as someone who hung out with people in high school just so I wasn't alone. It's a struggle to build any kind of relationship on such a poorly constructed foundation. It led to a lot of fleeting "friendships" and none followed me past graduation. I'm really glad she's no longer trapped in that cycle.

@Fuwafu It's a good thing then that futanari isn't trans, nor is it even remotely close to what intersex genitalia even look like (which is inconsistent due to it's nature as a birth defect), so if anyone takes offense, then that's on them (hence the "taken" part). As for the other words you have mentioned, these are terms used to describe porn. You're not going to make societal headway by doing something as futile as trying to erase words from the internet.

It really blows me away how offended people get that other people find them sexually attractive. You may have insecurities about your appearance from a lifelong affliction, but that doesn't mean that other people see you as negatively as you see your self. There are plenty of trans people out there that are more than happy to strut their stuff for an online audience. They don't seem to be all that offended by this "hyper-sexualization", which I very much appreciate.

Spend less time obsessing over what people jerk off too, and more time making sure the children of tomorrow are more accepting than the adults of today. Otherwise, the only thing you can do is control what people say, and how they think, and I hope the negative implications of that don't need to be explained.
