Something about the angles of her face and the lines of her hair make her seem really neat and dignified. In terms of appearance I'd probably consider her the most attractive character.

Washio and Shiratori both have pretty girly hairstyles, but when they tie it up into a ponytail...

Yup, I used to be there for some reason. Thought romance was ruined if the character had any kind of romantic history with anyone other than the story's main love interest. It's really stupid, I don't know why I ever felt like that.

Also, Kotooka got really annoying right there at the end for me. Like, wasn't she supposed to be in love with Tsukasa? At least be a little more hesitant about the whole thing, do not push your "love" into someone else's arms so easily and so eagerly. I was hoping to see some sort of Kotooka x Tsukasa teasing, but nope, all we got was a lame, seemingly sad stare right there at the end.

I think Kotooka is trying to commit the romantic equivalent of suicide. Pretty sure in her mind, a relationship between her and Shiratori is impossible, or maybe even wrong. Therefore she tries to date other boys/ wants Shiratori to start dating a boy so that she actually has zero chance, and the reality will match her perception.

Kotooka's probably already worked through all of her angst previously and accepted the fate that she has decided for herself. She'll probably have to have a change in perspective, or a confrontation with her stance on the matter, before she begins to show any external romantic gestures towards Shiratori.

Hmm... rereading all of the chapters again, I noticed that Setsu hasn't formally defeated Shiraishi yet. Shiraish's my favorite, so it kind of makes me hopeful for some kind of twist ending involving her...

Is there like, a law in Japan against depicting minors drinking in works of fiction? Every time I see an anime character get drunk off of chocolate it just seems like the author wanted to get their character drunk without them actually drinking anything alcoholic. It feels really shoehorned to me.

I wonder if the artist is a friend of Morishima Akiko, or maybe worked with her at some point? There are times the faces look very like hers.

I kinda... don't care about whats going on in this manga.
Anyone knows whats ahead? Is there Yuri in this? if so from which chapter?

This manga is kinda hard to understand for anyone who hasn't gone through depression, as someone who suffers from it a lot I think this manga is a masterpiece so far.
But the Yuri here isn't really the point.

Ppl go through things. I've experience shit myself, and still am. I've had family members who have gone through hard things, stuff much harder to cope with than what is going on in the manga.
Either way, it does not mean that I will automatically care for this.

Was just asking if yuri happens at any point and when, in case anyone knows, cuz I don't have much interest on this as it is. Unless yuri comes into the mix.

I'm not trying to dismiss your, or your families, hardships, nor am I looking to put words in your mouth, but depression is not the same thing as dealing with difficulties in your life, or feeling sorry for yourself, or going through emotionally challenging ordeals. It's a physical, chemical imbalance in your brain. The mind is a finely tuned instrument that controls our entire perception of the world, but it's also quite delicate; any malfunctions in it can potentially turn a person's normal life into a living hell. A person's circumstances are more of a correlation to the issue, rather than an actual causation.

Again, I haven't a single clue as to what you or your family has been through, and I'm not trying to downplay it in any way, but claiming to "have been through shit" does not imply that you personally understand depression. I'm not denying the possibility that you were referring to depression itself, but it seems naive to try and compare the severity of mental anguish to other cases, as the whole concept is just so intangible.

I apologize for the rant, which may come off as potentially very rude, but depression is so misunderstood by most people, yet everyone acts like they know all about it, or have "been through it" personally. I felt like just getting this out there, even at the risk of pissing some people off.

As for whether there's yuri in future chapters, I can quite confidently say that if you aren't getting anything out of this story so far, then even if there is yuri in future chapters, it won't be presented or contribute to the story in a way that will change your opinion of this manga. I think you can safely drop it.

Can confirm. I'd feel awkward if someone started talking about poop, but most women I've known who menstruate have zero filter when it comes to talking about their periods. At least around other women! Tends to be much more muted around men.

Yeah, I get that. I'm not saying this story is even that out there. I'm sure there have been classmates who ask each other for pads before, even when they don't know each that other well. But I still think it wasn't the most tactful way of approaching a romantic interest, especially when she had a lot of other options (I mean she wasn't even actually on her period). Still a pretty awkward method of interaction if you ask me.

I dunno. It's a topic all girls can relate to, and pretty much everyone is sympathetic to it. Asking for a small favour or referencing a common ground isn't a bad way to break the ice; I often started a lot of conversations after my classes by asking about essays, or some such thing.

I mean, everyone poops, but you don't go using that as a conversation topic with complete strangers. At least Essays are a more appropriate subject and have a greater chance to progress in to actual conversation. Don't get me wrong though, I liked the story and thought it was cute; I was just making a bad joke.
