Well in a purely biological sense (aside from the rearrangement of organs), having both sexes in one increases flexibility of the species. Being able to both impregnate and conceive is a rare, but useful trait. Especially for humans who are more capable of using such skills in a controlled way. Other than that, I just think it's quite nice to have both options.

Considering her main insult was "liar" I'd say that's the most likely scenario. But some sort of seduction or sexual treatment under the pretense of "love" despite the clear intent just to play around and then moving to the next target is no better than emotional abuse to me.

But at least on the information we have to go by at the moment, the depiction of senpai as some sort of predatory child-abuser is not supported by the present evidence. Miyuki is what, two years older than Asuka? And Asuka has known her longer than she’s been friends with Jun and his family—she was shy Asuka’s first peer-mentor/protector.

Well despite how bad it sounds, I am looking forward to Re:Zero's second season. Suffer-kun may be a shitty Isekai protagonist, but he is at least entertaining. And the world is actually kind of interesting. It has a lot more worldbuilding than most boring "this is just a video-game" Isekais. The dark/edgy aspects are also not overdone or go grimdark.

And most importantly Subaru is not a stupid OP harem protag. Well the latter has not happened yet anyway...
