I can't see her going after Sumin without trying to hurt her relationship with Sungji. Who she see these days isn't Sumin she knew when they were young. She's different. And when she's happy, this happiness is also different. First thing Seju must do is admit it to herself and ask herself: does she really want to risk losing her for good to get her? Because of she starts her game again, it'll be va banque.

in a matter of fact, Seju may not need to destroy anything between Sungji and Sumin.. it will rather happen from within.
in chapter 78, you see Sungji asking Seju about her reasons for going this far, in Seju's answer you find her making Sungji question herself of her own reasons.. guess what, Sungji couldn't answer Seju right away.
a chapter earlier you find Sungji also realising her defeat in severing the ties between Sumin and Seju..
what you get from this is a Sungji who is quite confused. Sumin is doing all the right moves lately.. treating Sungji the way she wants to be treated and lets her take control of things.
what the above tells me that Seju doesn't need to sleep with Sumin again or blackmail Sungji to destroy anything.
in a matter of fact, if Seju really wanted to blackmail Sungji, she has all the tools already. But the ball is in Sungji's.

I'm kind of lost here. Why is Seju be safe because of her father? She couldn't be sent to the hospital, she couldn't tell the police about her being attacked either because she had to avoid shocking her father to death, right? If her father had passed away, wouldn't Seju's life be safer?

what we meant is, the brothers won't kill Seju while the father is alive to avoid getting disowned.. a dead Seju news can't be hidden.
if he dies, they will have their inheritance secured and can dig for more by killing Seju without any consequences.

Seju would never let go, that I have realized :). She will be totally fine with Sumin dating anyone, even Sungji, as long as she would still see her, as long as Sumin is still there with her, she wont mind :)

I disagree, Seju is going for all of Sumin, she started the 3rd Arc with: "I'm going to get you back",
last chapter she said clearly to Sungi: " how can you say it is a joke?, you know I'm not the type of person to play fair"
again this chapter, she was quite hurt by the scarf thing.
the before the cheating Seju is different from now, she used to think that Sumin hates her and comes back for sex, but this is not the case any more. she now knows that Sumin loves her + cares for her as we go more with this story. I only expect Seju to be even more motivated to have Sumin all back and in a monogamous relationship.

I agree with you in that, I am bothered by the timing, in a sense that if it happens so suddenly, then the real issues will only get under the rug. of course the dynamics will change between Seju -> Sumin -> Sungji.. as you said

if Sumin will ever end up with Seju, I hope it will be out of Sumin's true feelings not because of the circumstances.

even if Sumin then finally decides to go to the States with Seju without solving their issues, the whole story would be meaningless.
I wonder if his death is significant relationship wise.. and whether it will reveal some other info regarding Sumin's parents or Seju's mother.

you know, Seju's laughter was something, I had three possible explanation for it:

1- Seju finds it funny that Sungji sympathies with her and allowed her to stay when in fact Seju knows that Sungji can't kick her out (the house is still Seju's and she knows that Sungji knows it), only thing Sungji can do is to keep Sumin out of the dilemma, so Seju and Sumin will avoid unnecessary situation.
......
2- Seju might be laughing at Sumin's loss of control, that Seju has to ask Sungji " a kid" whether she can stay in Sumin's house, she laughed too in ch77 when Sumin was in a very silly position.
......
3- it might be a laughter out of pitying someone's self.. (I can't get the right word in english, I hope you get me in this one)
but I mean the feeling when someone is broken somehow and they get sad on how their situation turned to be., the laughter is out of sadness rather than a genuine one.

It just made me underestimate the maturity of the story before I read it.. I got so drown in it by ch11.. now I can't imagine Seju having any other hair color :D

Mmm I do not even know if Seju is going to interact with Sungji next chapter as roamsl said, Seju will be at work while Sumin and Sungji are home during the day.

5 chapters doesn't feel enough to deal with all of it and an assassin... Even if the chapters were longer, it still wouldn't be enough.

Well, I was arguing that Sumin is the kind of person who takes her emotions to bed. In a sense that she expreses how she really feels during sex. In addition to that, there is a huge shift in power dynamics as well, that can also affect how comfortable/intimidated does she feel. If that is the case, even the scene would not be a mere sex scene.
