I'm a bit surprised that Shirakawa's germophobia and aversion to being touched are being played for laughs in the COVID-19 pandemic, and in a society that's as averse to touching others as Japan is.

Despite that, I enjoyed it and wished it could have been longer. The problem with these short series is that they can't develop the main characters' relationships as well as a long series can, nor can they stand on their own as well as a one-shot can, often due to lacking a real ending. If the writers had fleshed out the characters and kept things fresh, this could have gone on for a while.

Covid aside, i thunk this is exactly that. It's a less-than-subtle dig at Japan's averseness to touching and other close contact as well as it's general culture of hyper cleanliness and the resultant negative effects on the japanese immune system.

Maybe it's because bisexual comes with the trope "I thought I was het before meeting her/him," and usually has some kind of cheating before the main character comes out to their lover and says, "oh, I realized I love this girl/boy, sorry, let's break up." I don't like it either, to be honest, and I've seen it in both GL and BL stories.

While i agree that bisexual with cheating is way overdone, the 'i thought i was het before meeting X" can be quite cute when done well and without the cheating.

I'm reasonably sure there's at least a few of them on Dynasty.

yeah, im honestly starting to doubt if this is an actual yuri series or whether maybe the yuri was tacked on to piggyback the 'lesbian brothels/gay for pay' wave on the rise.

im not sure how to feel about this one. While the likely love interest (if actually a yuri series) working in a normal brothel is not a deal breaker, it's not a positive for a yuri series either IMO.

If this was a story without yuri, i think it could be less... unsure feeling.
