Is it weird that even with that great date the one thing I'm most excited about here is Adachi regretting not properly talking with her mom. Nice to see the progress in their relationship is not just one-sided either.

I think my favorite part was Shimamura admonishing Adachi for "cheating on her" with Nagafuji. Hopefully getting a taste of her own medicine will help her grow up a bit, since right now she's in "clingy child" mode and she really needs to get over that.

Also, Nagafuji recognized the boomerang. :D

Nagafuji not only recognized it, but before they even got to that point she immediately knew Adachi was talking about Shimamura, so it's pretty clear she knows what's going on lol

I'm no expert on trans issues, but my impression is that for the actual process of transition or sex-reassignment surgery the US is pretty good compared to many countries. Expensive, maybe, but without the gatekeeping that e.g. Sweden has had. Having a job or being safe as a trans person may be another matter.

Someone with better knowledge please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm always looking to better myself with correction of incorrect facts, but if I'm not mistaken it's a pretty harsh journey here in the US. You have to be under the care of a psych, you have to have an official diagnosis of gender dysphoria, you have to live as as your real gender for several months to years before being cleared for SRS, and then the SRS is NEVER covered by insurance, so that's a major surgery in the 10s of thousands that has to be paid out of pocket... so.... yeah.....

I actually do plan to move to Canada through the skilled worker route, I have to finish college and university first but I will definitely be leaving as the future of the UK does not look bright at all

Well, I am a disabled adult with no degree, and no hope of ever returning to the workforce, so I have 0 hopes of being able to leave this country unless it's via marriage. And of course, since I am a disabled adult with no degree, plus also, y'know, fat, I am also not very desirable as a partner. The fact that I'm a lesbian pretty much drains out completely an already impossibly small pool of anyone who'd be interested, so, yeah. More or less I am doomed to sit here, alone in my tiny apartment, and wait for death...

I have not finished up chapter 9 yet so I had to miss the Last Magia event, boo..... I know who the new Meguca gorl is and all that but I'm sad I couldn't participate.

My friend finally was able to come to visit and I introduced her to the world of Madoka. Then people started using me, and then going back to bullying me once they got the art part of their school project finished. The last straw was when I took my very first art class in my very first semester of college, and the instructor also teased me and made fun of my sketches, and it killed what little flame had been struggling to stay alive. I'm pretty passionate about music. I'm trying to learn guitar and bass. Already know some piano. And I sing. (Nobody really knows about that last thing irl lol.) I'm not good at ANY of them... I can't remember artist names or song titles much at all thanks to my health BS. I struggle to read sheet music or guitar tabs thanks to the health BS. My hands are all kinds of wonky thanks, you guessed it, to my health BS which makes learning instruments harder than it should be.

But it's what makes me happy. Took me a long time to finally figure out someone doesn't have to be a pro or an expert in order to love a thing or hobby, or that they don't have to feel inferior or unworthy. Glad I finally figured it out. :)

I'm an old lady and I wasn't into yuri at all at first. I just assumed yuri = shoujo and I am not fan of air-headed female leads and cardboard cutout male protags that plague that genre.
