So seeing Kii burrow through the snow makes me wonder: how do normal people perceive it when the ayakashi directly interact with the physical world? Do they just see the snow spontaneously generating a Kii-sized trench? Is the snow trench only visible to people who can see ayakashi?

Also I wonder if we're going to get a part 3 to the whole Kuuko/Yuki thing; there was definitely something going on with them in this chapter.

Really? It’s short but it told a complete story and nothing in it really defied reality—it’s a situation that could happen exactly as depicted in real life.

Most things with that tag are far more bizarre than just having an abrupt ending.

The more I see of Chitose when she’s being used beyond the nosebleed gag the more I like her; she’s just so...nice. I guess it’s for the better we don’t get her with Akari more, lest someone literally be killed with kindness.

Its a rarity to see an accepting parent in a yuri manga, its even rarer to see a supporting one who tries to get their gay daughter a date.

Not only that, I think Mr. Honami actually has a clearer idea what’s happening than said gay daughter.

• You can't swap with animals
• Swapping twice, leads to a regular kiss

• You and your partner have to be conscious

Now there are 2 more factors to consider
Either you can't swap, while already swapped, or you can't swap with a normal person

By next chapter, this revelation should be cleared up

Also fun fact, breast size isn't static throughout a woman's life, even after puberty. The cast is largely in their young adulthood, and the younger of them (Momo, Aoba, Nene, etc.) aren't even 100% done growing. Beyond that, a woman's breasts can go up and down in size over large enough periods of time.

I will admit, I saw the twist at the end coming, but it stretched my suspension of disbelief a little.

I mostly find it hard to believe that Riko somehow managed to complete the transfer procedures to a school in Tokyo without her guardian ever being involved or informed, and thus ruining the twist ending because her mom would know about it.

Otherwise, I enjoyed the series as a whole, but that felt like a plot hole for the sake of comedy to me.

To be fair, I believe the story established that Goblin's usual stomping grounds is one for mostly newbie adventurers. If this series uses the established RPG ailment spell tropes, that things like petrify or death would be mid to late tier spells newbie adventurers wouldn't have access to. Sleep, especially a single target sleep, is generally an early game spell.

At least if my knowledge of classic Final Fantasy is anything to go by.

Those effects might also take level into account in this world, and since Goblin is cap level...

Unfortunately, in Japan, dryers are just less common as a rule; they're not culturally perceived as "necessities" but rather as "luxuries". Not to mention, their apartment might not have the space for one, nor are dryers particularly cheap to buy on a college student's budget (well, discounting help from parents anyway).

That being said, this incident is a pretty good reason to change their minds about dryers.

Strictly speaking, やおい 'yaoi' is the Japanese term for gay porn aimed at straight females (as opposed to 薔薇 'bara', gay porn for the tastes of gay men). I don't know of any Japanese term that is the male equivalent to 'yuri', that is, everything that is gay. (Or of any specific term for 'lesbian porn', for that matter)

People always use 'shonen ai' in forums I read, or is that not a real thing in Japan?

As I understand, in the States (Or I guess, in most English speaking nations?) "shounen ai" is used for non explicit homosexual male lovin'. However, in Japan, "yaoi" just sort of encompasses all homosexual male stuff, explicit or no. Over there (Again, if I'm understanding it right) "shounen ai" literally means what it translates into "boys' love" and it has pedophilic connotations, and isn't really used at all.
