And no offense to Ratanna but I honestly felt like I was watching a telenovela with these two chapters. I mean, the timing is just perfect to start the road to the grand finale.
I finally catched up with the series (seriously why they don't upload the remaining chapters here?) and man is still really, really good. Ditching Maki did wonders for the plot and is very enjoyable the way Yuu is so fixated in the idea of being in love that she's failing to realize she IS in love
Can't we have a spinoff about the teacher and her girlfriend? I simply can't get enough of older yuri pairings
"I've been asked, why create Valkyrie Drive as its own game when it's along the same lines as Senran Kagura? But just like Samurai Shodown and The Last Blade, ultimately the games go in different directions in terms of what they're trying to accomplish. The same way nipples point in different directions."
They're real awesome but this part in particular caught my eye
--Besides that, what else do you find to be impressive from Valkyrie Drive
O: I heard that this show have quite a lot of female fans too, so I was pretty surprised.
A: I have received letter from viewers that know me and watched Valkyrie Drive. There’s also plenty of female fans among them. They’d said things like “I love Mirei-san and Mamori-chan combination” or “I love Lady Lady”. No matter how you see it this show is definitely intended for male demographic, but in Valkyrie Drive, not only you can see a friendship between girls, they also depicted a romance between them. So perhaps female viewers found this approach to be refreshing and that’s what draws them to this show.
I'm glad to see Shou pushing the envelope just enough to confirm a romantic interest between Ran and Keiko but without being overt about it. More authors should learn a thing or two from him.
Is weird that this bonus was just three pages long though, previous ones have been four pages long. Oh well, isn't a big loss, isn't like he would throw the baby out the window in the next page, right?
