Just finished watching it (marathons for the win) I'd say it was darker than Madoka, but it also has a happy ending As for how yuri it is, Madoka beats it in that department then again it would be hard to beat Homura's reasoning of why she was doing that (love). Seems like they were gearing up for a second season, because the very last few seconds it said "Yuuki Yuuna's Chapter", so perhaps if there is a sequel it will be with the new heroes, since it seems like our girls aren't/don't need to be heroes anymore

Isn't there a discussion thread for the anime? Now that I've watched I wanna discuss stuff xD

I've started watching Person of Interest partially on this thread's recommendation (most of the way through s2, last saw Shaw's intro episode). It's pretty good! It's a lot more episodic and lower-budget than I'm used to, but it's interesting to see something with so many more hours to work with and every episode at least does something interesting with a character dynamic or part of the formula even if it isn't advancing the big plotlines.

Shaw is fun, hopefully she'll join the main team soon so somebody other than Reese can do some of the cool agent stuff and give him a contrast on the job. Plus she ends up with Root right? They had pretty good chemistry in their one scene so far, even if being tased, tied up, and almost tortured with a clothesiron is a pretty weird first date.

Bear is the best though.

Just wait till mid-season 3 and season 4. For me PoI is the best for story, GoT is only for the shock value and is meh.

The one I read described it as "yuri/shoujo ai", using their trope tag for it.

Yeah I know, but you can't blindly trust TV Tropes, sometimes they have wrong information, specialy if it's something not very popular with small page and little information, if not wrong it's vague or incomplete, so it's good to look in other places to be sure about some of the things they say.

If you're talking about PoI, I can confirm it is 'yuri'. Late season 3 and season 4 at least the first half of it, because something evil happens, there's a reason for episode 11 of season 4 to be in the number 2 spot of IMDB's best episodes (:

Nope haven't read it. You should search for Washio Sumi wa Yuusha de Aru on baka-tsuki. It's technically a prequel to the anime but it's advised to read it after it.

Teams in Eromame's stories seem to be 3v3, so I wonder what the other yellow squid is doing...

I guess he/she is doing his/her job: covering the turf with yellow paint^^ Because it seems like yellow is still winning the matches, so someone has to do it without getting distracted ;)

Or as an alternative: the 3rd yellow squid is also watching over them but is jealous that her senpai is flirting with the enemy?

Well to start with the 'main' one Haru is really indecisive and at one point it felt like she got raped by her boyfriend (maybe that's just me), Haru gets together with Rika (she met her right at the start of the movie) and for some reason Rika is living with Haru. Anyway, Haru starts behaving weirdly and Rika sees that and suggests some time apart. After there is no interaction between them besides Haru trying to call (showed only once) and Rika ignoring her for whatever reason (I assume she got fed up with her indecisiveness, or she wanted Haru to be the one to go to her this time) and at the end Rika is seen driving her bicycle with a plant, then they show Haru cleaning her apartment a gust of wind blows through the open window as she stands in front of it, the screen goes black and she screams and roll the credits

I might just be overthinking this but when Ran said, "Hard to believe we were like them once," I can't help but wonder if she's talking about when she was at their age or when she had a boyfriend in her younger years. If it's the latter, I'm wondering why a flashback wasn't shown about it. But then again, we haven't even seen much of Ran's life except when her father died.

It's most definitely about when they were their age. It could've been the latter if that comment was after they saw what the girl wrote. Even then it would be a pretty big stretch (heh) to make it about Ran having a boyfriend, and if it was the same situation (cheating on her) there would have been a flashback to it.

Also have we seen Ran call anyone else besides Keiko senpai?

Well the ending almost sucked (ha). There is more romance than I hoped for so that's awesome :] And they milked themselves happily ever after. Yep.

I did not mean "see" too much in the literal sense (specially considering they're a shut-in), but that I'd like them to be in the story again... I guess it may be a little unlikely, tho.

Don't discount it just yet, there is a very high chance that either Tooru or Kanna will call him again to ask something. Plus I don't think the author would show him/her (though it's more likely him) only once or twice. Who knows, he/she may serve to get the plot going.

It can work pretty well with the one where Umi didn't like Eri romantically. Kind of like Eli moving on while Umi falling for her.

The Eri x Umi tag doesn't really apply here and the Kotori x Umi does.
