I just re-read ouji-sama nante iranai so I'm used to the slow burn and while it seems like nothing has changed I'd definitely call this progress

There are a few manga long strips. Ouji-sama Nante Iranai and Suimittou wa Shoujo ni Kajira Reru would be two examples.

what a well-written manga. also lol at how that one cheek kiss at the very end revitalised the yuri tag for this series. its pretty genius imo, the kiss straddles the line between friendly affection and yuri perfectly so the reader can interpret it either way.

As much as Utena is playing her part as the BBEG (and loves doing it), i'd personally put her squarely in anti-hero territory, in the grand scheme of the series.
It hasn't really been apparent for a while but Utena isn't really Vena's ally at all. They blackmailed her into becoming a villain and I have no doubt that Utena has an evil scheme going to eventually get rid of that little, evil muppet. And to that end Tres Magia naturally have to be strong enough to rise up to the challenge

The real curve ball here would probably Nakano rejecting all of them bc she just has no idea what love really is at this point~
But I definitely hope for a polyam ending here as well, minus the minor

This newest chapter seems to be fairly solid evidence against the "none of the girls are serious/they all have ulterior motives" theory, love that. Roommate seems to be fairly possessive and Riri is already head-over-heels for our MC as well. Now that's promising :D

While the rumors about yuri manhua getting banned may have been exaggerated due to one incident, it's definitely not baseless to assume the Chinese government would do so, considering their clear anti-lgbt legislature and track record of banning other pieces of lgbt+ media.

I mean authors of lgbt works have basically no protection on their publishing sites, if the govs or the providers decided to crack down on them based on laws that are clearly stacked against them. Only reason they don't is bc there's a high demand for it and bc the authors try to stay in the clear by skirting as close to being "subtext only" as possible while trying to make clear to those who "know" that it's totally not subtext.

Chapter 20 had an... interesting cover. Either Kase has four fingers, or she is making a quite bold, for this manga at least, hand gesture.... Though, I suppose hurling your backpack at someone's face is a bit bolder lol

She's holding the flower with her index and middle fingers, you can see the tip of the former peek out behind the title on the left of it a bit

If there was ever any yuri to be had in this series, it would have to be the slowest of burns. As such I still believe in the possibility. Bc it certainly is slow and ooooo does it burn to wait.

I think the whole point of the last panel is for it to be ambiguous. It can about both, Sena saying that Kiku doesn't really love her and her trying to convince herself that she doesn't really love her own sister that way.

It's not, i'm pretty sure the author mentioned at some point that the story has long since outgrown the original two protagonists and that they won't appear anymore (aside from the "status update" snippets about every character.

What is she talking about here, at the top? Is it that she thinks the MC fell in love with her sister? Or she thinks it's impossible that the MC would be with her? Or something else?

She's basically admitting here that she's been more or less willfully ignoring the signs that Sena was well and truly in love with her sister, and that's why she has been falling apart. Up until now Mamiya been running with the idea that Sena has just been particularly attached to her sister in a familial sense, but is now recognizing she's up against a lot more than that. Which is probably why she was so taken aback by the fact Sena declared out of nowhere she would be her lover.
