"Well, I had it coming." Classic reaction after getting punched in the face.

... and theeeere is all the crazy drama.

Uh, sorry, I mean, DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT DRAMA SOMETIMES NEEDS TO BE SUBTLE?! punches author in the face

But most probably, this story doesn't want to be reasonable and the author just wanted to overdramatize the whole thing, because the external world doesn't seem to be relevant.

^ probably the crucial thing. We can debate the realism of the chapter until we're blue; given who the author is the story is going to go bonkers anyway, making these questions moot.

At least most likely.

Isn't that premise Ai Kora, but instead of just boobs its pretty much every feature of the human body?

I don't know that specific one, but you don't have to go further than "The Fourth Heroine" which just has been posted here to look at how much that sort of casual sexual harassment is part of the accepted genre tropes. You couldn't parody it if it weren't there in the first place. ^^;

Only here would people try to take a deeper meaning to a gag comedy about someone loving breasts to a ridiculous level

I know, I know ... but just imagine how disgusting this would be as het ^^;

That can aply to Bloom into you too, and that serie has a lot of fangirls...

Or the various incest manga. I'm not saying I'm not biased either, and if this were het I'd have immediately thrown into a trash pile - clearly, there's a difference when the main couple is "by default" expected to be sexually attracted to each other compared to when they might not be - it's just not quite the same. But "just because" it's two girls I don't think it's completely unproblematic either.

She failed to understand, or accept, that Ichigo didn't want to be her child, but wanted to be her lover. Ichigo was probably unstable from the start, but Sensei rejected her again and again, pushing her over the edge.

What, so her only option was to give in? She clearly knew that that was what Ichigo wanted, but Sensei's still her own person. She has every right to say no.

I'll forever remember the anime series for the scene where she stands around somewhere with sparkly background around her, as if she were transforming, but somehow the transformation didn't trigger.

That was great, dry humor.

All genres have their tropes, but some genres are more ridiculous with them, and more insidious, too. I like this. Should get an high-production anime movie. For justice. ^^

I want to enjoy the humor, and the boobs, but the level of objectification coupled with the emotional manipulation ... I probably shouldn't have read a book about abusive relationships just before looking at this. Because it just fits too fucking well ^^;

If this were a romance manga, it'd be the perfect opportunity for angry make-up sex ...

Mh, so that recruitment subplot thing is still going on. So. Team finals -> Individual tournament? -> International/professional stuff. Maybe.

Guess I'll change my will so my heir has to finish reading the series for me ...

She's "odd"? How so?

She's buying more Mocky than is strictly socially acceptable.

You are either doing something very right or very wrong when you spend more time on drawing boobs on a single page compared to drawing everything else and writing the dialogue combined.

^ Last time I checked gems weren't sentient beings either. And since everyone(tm) walks around saying gender is a social construct, it seems insidious to suddenly argue with biology (or mineralogy ^^) - it's perfectly plausible that they would have developed some sort of gender structure for themselves.

Of course, they apparently didn't. But just saying. ^^

That abused become abusers more often than others is an unfortunate truth. That those people often act very erratic is true, also.

So might be bad writing. Might also be just be realistic though. Truth sometimes is stranger than fiction after all ;)

Tried to kill her every die? What incompetent parents ...

I mean, really, killing someone isn't that difficult. You'd think at some point they'd have figured out something.

I think I heard the oppaiyo gag before. I wonder where...

Forget the name, but I think it's in the manga/anime about breast-growing ninjas ... there's this oppai obsessed lord and I think he actually says this once ^^;

There need to be more yuri manga that are not all about romance. So this is kinda promising in that regard. I agree that it feels a bit rough around the edges at various points, but I take what I can get ...

Every woman here has the kind of eyes that if they were guys, e.g. Toradora, etc., the whole manga would revolve around everyone hating them because of their eyes/face. Just saying. The only thing like that for girls is Watamote, I think.

I'm pretty sure I've seen the same trope being done for girls, but I couldn't currently name any series. I mean, it's usually more like Yamato Nadeshiko Shiji Henge (ugly -> beauty sort of confusion), but I think there's some "so mean/scary!" reactions to some characters eyes/face and then they aren't like that at all. Mh. Just can't quite recall right now ^^;

Reminds me of a lesbian novelette ... forget what it's called, Machine or something? Where girls are used as part of some sort of meteor defense system or something; strapped into metal chairs and they can't do anything at all for themselves.

There's then a romance between the caretaker and the girl, except, once the girl gets out of the system and she regains her independence ... her caretaker loses interest.

Well. ^^;

Huh. 14 chapters (complete). 16 chapters released. Bit weird?

So I guess the airplane chapter was actually a time skip. First the Doc flies to the US and once her little lover is all grown up she's flying after her.
