It does get tagged as yuri on the magazine's site, but it's mostly just them being basically a married couple. Tbh it just reflects the way yuri is used in Japan (a wide range from レズ "lesbian" hardcore porn to fluffy subtext stuff about girls being friends)...

Even in Japan fans always argue what yuri is. I heard that now they're trying to separate yuri from GL (Girls' Love). That yuri will be something like this manga or any other where there's nothing romantic or physical between girls. Just girls admiring each other or very close friendship with fanservice (hand-holding, "dates") here and there. GL will be all about romantic feelings like Girl Friends or Bloom Into You.

Actually there are authors who thiks like that. Some time ago I saw a description of an manga artist (can't remember who was it) on twitter. It was something like that:

Shoujo (story)
