Uh, to add something constructive: The second page this chapter is excellent. That last panel and Iori saying "my shitty boss" while he's standing right there are great. I've enjoyed every chapter so far, hopefully Mikanuji keeps this one going for now. Thanks to the scanlators as always, ya'll are good people.

We have seen some growth. Yeah, Arisa is still super flustered every time but Mari is definitely getting more comfortable with her new role as the more... active partner, even proposing to Arisa. Still, progress is pretty excruciatingly slowly on the Arisa front, and I wouldn't expect that to change much any time soon. Could be another 10 chapters til we see anything on even the scale of their hot springs trip. But hey, you never know! It's still pretty consistently cute, and there's usually at least one good gag per chapter. (Not a lot for what is essentially a comedy 4koma but hey, I'll take what i can get.)

edit: Also, and this is by no means a complaint to the good people scanlating it, updates are almost always gonna be less frequent in non-official translations, which doesn't help the sense of scale/time for progress.

(And make no mistake, I definitely don't deny that the character development and story is inching along at a... relaxed pace.)

Somehow I feel like this is a parody of something, but I can't remember what. It just gives me a feeling.

I'm sure they probably did it on purpose, but the fact that Jill seemed more likely to end up with just about any one of her female regulars than the person she actually had a crush on always bugged me

I think the reason for that is because they never showed much interaction between them. Dana didn't really get much screentime, so you're mostly just told that Jill likes her and that's that.

Watch as the only thing they're the same in is being in love with Miyu, dashing all hopes and dreams and ending up with another tired story about a straight cis guy as the rival competing for the affection of the heroine's childhood friend/best friend.

I mean, I HOPE not, but I've read a few yuri manga in my time and at this point I find it's best to just assume there'll be terribly cliched drama ending with a terribly cliched resolution.

Holy shit a va11halla doujin? Sign me the fuck up. I actually exclaimed, out loud, "WOAH! Really?!" when I saw this.

Man oh man, I love this game so much. I kinda want to write up a bunch of things about what's going on in this doujin, but honestly it's worth it to just get the game yourself and read through it. It's basically a visual novel with a unique method of interaction. For the most part it's kind of a kinetic novel though, and the ending is basically the same every time. The alternate "endings" are extra scenes with the various characters, which play after the regular ending. (My favorite is Alma's, who is also Best Girl. Gil/John/Archimedes makes a pretty good husbando though. And of course Best Boss goes to Dana)

Also I hope I'm not the only one who was delighted to see Jill wearing that shirt.

edit: oh damn I forgot that Sei is the #1 waifu for laifu. I freaking love her so god dang much.

I'm really getting into this now. Chapter 4 was hilarious, and has been the best so far. I had mixed feelings on the accent at first, but the more I read the more I've gotten used to it and appreciate it. At this point it feels natural and is easy to read.

Side note: I'm not sure if Ropponmatsu posts/reads posts here but in case they do I thought I'd mention that in the US (and Canada, though I'm not sure about the french parts of Canada) decimals are written with a period instead of a comma, so it might be good to use that for the $ prices for your commissions. There is something to be said for uniformity, though.

I really wish I could help you in a more substantive way but money has been tight for me. I really hope you get a lot of support though, I'm loving your work!

That last page is cute. The expression Hinata has on the previous one though... is kind of unsettling. It's probably just because her eyes are normally drawn very large, so when only one of them is squinting the difference is really noticeable.

edit: having only now seen the credits page, I'd like to specify I meant the last page of the manga.

Not that eldritch monstrosities aren't capable of being cute, but uh, that's not really my thing.

I think my favorite part of western fanart is the diversity of styles. There's some of it in fanart of anime and such, but not nearly as much.

The show is a real gem, they manage to get so much across in just a few words. Definitely recommend!
